Latitude Festival FAQ
Is Latitude Festival free?
Yes, Latitude Festival is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Latitude Festival legit?
⚠️ The Latitude Festival app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Schedule is rubbish. It only displays about half an hour of a few stages at a time. Meaning you need to constantly scroll up/down left/right to try to see what is going on.
How do you create your personal schedule?
Wide Awake festival used Woov app - that was much better.
Also, F all this corporate sponsorship. £250 ticket to have adverts shoved in your face at every opportunity.
Pretty hopeless
Good background, but no map and no stage times for acts etc, so complete guess work who is on when, says that info is ‘coming soon’, probably on Monday once it’s all over?!
Needs IOS 13
I have an iPhone6, it’s old but it works and I don’t see the need to keeping buying new and chucking out old things, it’s terrible for the environment.
So this app won’t work for me. I’m not sure who I should be more cross with Apple or Latitude. Probably Apple for forcing me to upgrade but it’s something app developers should be aware of.
Nothing works yet
Even though you can see there is loads of information probably there when you first load it.. it quickly changes to a blank screen saying “coming soon”… well the festival is in a couple of week so whilst I get covid might have delayed things… you need to make the information available now or it’ll be too late!!!
Kind of useless
The app seems to require an Internet connection in order to work. Mobile signals (Vodafone) at the Latitude site are dire or non-existent. Like every year. It looks like the devs never considered the real world use of the app: having a locally cached copy of the data should’ve been an obvious requirement. And the maps don’t scale. The best thing I can say is that the colours are nice.
No wifi on site why bother!
Great app for just before going ! Unfortunately by the Friday the app becomes absolutely useless as the Organisers completely forgot to get in extra WiFi equipment for the punters!!!!
My phone found loads of trader WiFi points!
And to round it off pay £60 extra to be the furthest away! Great
Poor when used at latitude
App looked great but kept losing its schedule therefore no notifications. Even when I got my phone signal back it kept losing a schedule that was there before so pretty useless
Great to download instead of buying a £10 programme but a bit glitchy
While full of information and having so much potential, this app is a bit glitchy. The times of events disappear periodically making it impossible to plan your schedule, the timeline/scheduling feature is hard to get up on screen (sometimes works, sometimes doesn't). Also the notifications sometimes work and sometimes don’t.
Needs data so not much use at the festival
Lots of good stuff but the schedule tries to update the times over a data connection. We arrived on Saturday with a schedule and reminders, then the times were zapped and because there was no reliable Vodafone signal none of it worked.
Map just said “coming soon”.
A suggestion for next year that the app doesn’t rely heavily on having data as I could send a text the whole time we were there!
At least leave the provisional schedule in there so you’ve got some idea when things are happening. We ended up photographing someone else’s book.
