AR location-based service for Latvian historical monuments and art projects.
This application is a 3D reconstruction of the Horse Stable of the Preili Manor. To see the AR 3D reconstruction visitor will need to physically visit the site and scan the AR marker displayed at the ruins. A reconstructed 3D model will be then placed over the ruins and visitor will be able to see how the Horse Stable looked in its better times.
Latvia Inside app allows taking photos with reconstructed objects and save them into photo library.
Just note: the app uses GPS location and the 3D model of the Horse Stable shows up only near the AR marker at the site!
The 3D model was created based on historical photos, LIDAR scanning and drone photogrammetry of the ruins.
