The app is simple and easy. Does exactly what it’s intended for. Learn how quick you can become and reach your potential.
My daughter plays select softball, but I also look at this intently because I’m also a Golf teaching professional. Fabulous information and incredible what they’ve been able to do with an app. Thanks for sharing Richard!
This app helped my daughter realize she was forward dominant in her swing. She started pulling back more a felt she could stay on the brink much longer. This was a breakthrough for her. Now she can truly adjust for different speeds.
I have no idea how this could possibly help someone become a better hitter, none !
Great app. However it’s not magic. You have to put in the work. If you don’t already do HLP hitting mechanics I recommend learning those first and then getting the App. It took my boy about 18 months to really get the HLP mechanics down. Once you have the mechanics down this is a great tool to improve.
Don’t let the dumb trolls fool you. The app accomplishes what it’s intended to. Has swing at release and swing at ball appearance modes. Swing at release is a good warmup but you can time the release point easily. Swinging as soon as the ball appears is challenging. You can’t cheat by timing it so you have to be ready or you’ll get a high reaction time. I would like to see a tutorial added on how to use the app for each modes as well as a grade scale for reaction times. Had to figure it out myself and eventually messaged Teacherman directly to try some clarification, who responded quickly and was very helpful. Also, the app is kinda glitchy in that if you move or it senses movement in the background, it’ll show a read in the middle of or even before the pitcher shows up, which can get a little annoying in between swings. But overall, I’m satisfied with the app. It does what it advertisers and the mini coaching videos going over the HLP basics are also helpful for both set up and little reminders to your mechanics on track.
Teacherman remains to only provide the best resources!!! Great app!
