Basic functionality is good
The app works okay as far as letting you see video and pics. There are a few issues, though, that really need to be resolved: 1) When you save a video or pic, the pop up window that comes up is in Chinese. That cannot be changed anywhere that I can find. 2) The button to stop / start recording is not intuitive at all and doesn’t use conventional start / stop recording that almost all video recording apps use. The button is labeled “Video Recording” and when you connect to it, there is a floating text that pops up and says “Stop Recording”. It is not intuitive at all. 3) I am not a big fan of local SSIDs run by devices as this requires users to connect to the device manually every time they want to use it. This makes it a bit user unfriendly for non techies, which is prob the majority of folks who would use a pore cleaner with a camera. The idea is good but the app needs a lot of work to look and feel professional. I’m actually surprised this one passed the standards for the App Store.
