LeafSnap-Plant Identification

I went around my yard and snapped 14fruit trees and a goji berry. The only ones it got right were the mango and the pomegranate.

I was using the free version and getting too many answers that did not match. So I paid for a month, and got the same answers. Several which were wrong. My apple identification on photos was far more accurate.

I’m not sure whether I’m subscribing or not, but it came in super handy thus far. I was almost going to pull out what was a perfectly good plant which was not a weed. Highly recommend.

I tested this on a plant that I already knew what it was and it said it was a completely different plant. It didn’t work

I use it often to identify plants mostly by leave. It’s pretty accurate and has saved me from ripping up what I thought were weeds. My one criticism is there is no setting for USDA zones.

The app can’t always identify the plant. It gives you several generic answers. Like to much or too little water. For the price, it’s not worth it you can google for information. They only give 3 days free offer then they charge you. I forgot to cancel…. Lesson learned 😢

You have to pay to see if your plant is sick and the cure for it!This made my plants get sick and unhealthy.

There should be both a geographic location and time of the year input accompanying the photo. Many completely erroneous “hits” in absence of these inputs

App seems to work great. I didn’t realize I signed up for a year. I used it one time and probably the only time I will use it. Cannot see where to cancel subscription so I don’t get charged another $26 next year when I forget about it. What’s the deal with the nickname They’re all taken even my email. Keep on trying I will
