Learn and Play – Guitar Licks

This is a great app for working licks or riffs in all 12 keys. Slowing down is possible when needed. I use this app to work on my saxophone and jazz improvisation technique. The app’s almost perfect. I use jazz records from “the Greats” and make loops for interesting parts. Then I work them in 12 keys… The built in metronome really helps and automatic tempo detection is included… The best part, it’s free! I said almost perfect because some crucial things are missing, like the possibility to transpose one octave up (+12 ) This is a function is necessary for transcription and clarity of bass lines… Automatic loops of 2 or 4 mesures would be a great addition, the possibility to move the loops backwards would be even better (for the moment, moving forwards is the only possibility)

Does what you need it to. Thanks for not being needlessly complicated 5th star when there’s a search feature, but at that point you might start paywalling ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It just threw me into a song strait away and it does not even have videos or anything

I can put my songs in and it plays it, but it doesn’t give me the sheet music! I don’t understand, what am I supposed to do with this feature if it doesn’t help me?

App works well, just need Spotify integration. Deal breaker for me.

Not sure why the 1 star review. Maybe my bar’s low. I have a few tunes for which I’d like to quickly pin down the notes of the solos, and set out to find an app that simply slows songs down. After downloading and trying a couple apps, this one gets it done easily! Slow the entire songs for free, too! And it’s actually free! Generous. Thanks, man!

CANT IMPORT AUDIO FROM ANY SOURCE OTHER THAN CLOUD DATA WAS LOOKING TO USE IT WITH SPOTIFY OR APPLE LIBRARY MUSIC BUT USELESS please refund if anything was charged and i will gladly delete the app
