Learn Art

I am beginning, like it very much so far, but… really wish the text was a little larger. For individuals with visual impairments, slightly larger text and/or a font that includes slightly more spacing can improve the reading comprehension experience because the reader can focus on cognitive fluency processing and not visual accuracy. However, other than that I am very much enjoying the app. I particularly like the glossary explanations on the genres. This supports a better close read analysis of the work and putting the visual elements in perspective. I also like the flash card format. This format keeps the content delivery dynamic and engaging. I am just getting started with this app. Compared to the other art learning apps, this one is more academic feeling, which is what I was looking for to assist me in my studies and my workshop teaching and learning. I may have more praise for the app after I use it longer. I will recommend it to the participants in my workshop sessions.

Flexing my two art regress as a little nerd game show against only myself

I’ve always wondered how people recognized different styles of art, but after 2 days of using this (to replace a social media habit), and I’m getting styles right easily! Would love to see the same thing for global art or other periods. Thank you!

I love learning art like this at my fingertips! i’m only confused about what the coins are for? there’s no description- it just says they’ll last forever :)) i’m going to buy them to support the developer, but I really don’t understand what coins do lol

I took AP Art History 8 yrs ago. I wanted a refresher without having to take an actual course. This app is wonderful! I love the set up and the way the information is displayed. Such great quality! I have regained so much information about Art and I feel at ease learning about it. I take a few minutes every day to go through the app and there are times when I just keep going. Very fun and interactive way to learn or refresh your art history knowledge. I would recommend this to any one studying for the AP Art History exam or homeschoolers. Not sure that is interactive and compelling enough for any one bellow the age of 14 of 15. But it’s great!

If you love art and want to learn in a beautiful way, this is the app for you. Seriously thank you for this such a beautiful creation for our art lovers! You must be an amazing teacher!!!!

The music combined with the slideshow style makes learning about art so enjoyable! I wish there were more apps like this :)

This app took my payment for an in app purchase but didn’t give it to me. If I tried to buy it again it said I had purchased it but it wouldn’t let me use it. It was completely unusable and I had to delete it.

I was looking for a game or quiz that covered history and this popped up. It’s a great tool for periods and styles influenced by the times the artists lived in making it a satisfying study of historical events. There are two things I would change: 1) I would add world artists and 2) I would change the display for learning. As the painting moves down and to the right, eventually leaving the screen, it does this weird jitter that makes me feel nauseous. If I was epileptic, I would probably have a seizure.
