Learn Sight Words Reviews

Love this app for the simplicity!

So many apps for this sort of thing have pictures and characters, they’re annoying and in my opinion, distracting. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wish they would add 3 lists: • ABCs (capitals) • abcs (lowercase) • phonetic alphabet (letters saying their sounds)

Great App But Needs a Few Things

My son and I use this app a great deal with his sight words. It’s a great free app. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is some missing basic words and no ability to add words (even without the audio would be nice). The color Orange is noticeably missing from the app. So far that’s the only one I’ve noticed lacking, but he is pre-K so I’m sure there may be more.

Worked for my child! He reads more than he’s on iPad now!

I used this on my son years ago and he was reading at 3rd grade before kindergarten. Now he reads every night before bed and loves it. Thank you so much for this amazing app, you’ve have really changed my son’s life.

Wonderful tool!

This app is super easy to use, ad free, and is so useful. My son is in the first grade and we practice sight words daily using this app exclusively and it makes things so much easier than having to keep track (and make) paper flash cards. He is so proud when he recalls flagged words and loves to see his flagged list shrink 😊

Simple and User Friendly

This is perfect for on the go practicing. It’s easy to use, some ability to customize with flagging. So if I’m working on a set with my child, any words he’s having difficulty with, I can flag as we go and focus on them at times we need to just practice those words in isolation. Thank you!

Please make a version for Android

Hi! I love this app especially helping ESL students learn to pronouce words properly. It’s better than any others of it’s kind because the words are read at our leisure and can be repeated instead of with any automatic timer. The list sets are also helpful. My only complaint is that there isn’t a version for Android which would be helpful for those that don’t have an iphone. I hope an android version can be made soon.

My baby loves it

Great but..

This app has helped so much when we are on the road or to just have big “flash cards” for my kid to read. Only change to make this 5 stars would be for us to be able to add sight words of our own!

Thanks!

This is a very comprehensive list of sight words. Thank you for making it user friendly and FREE! Amazing!

Good basic app

This is almost perfect for what I’m looking for. I would like to be able to change the font either randomly or for entire sets, that way kids can get used to looking at words in different context.
