It’s a great idea and it’s reasonably useful but I get dates notified in triplicate (most of which have already been given) and only one of which is a new date.
Looked to find my address and it doesn’t work
This app used to be great, simple but effective. Now it won’t even let me select my address. Big fail.
Calendar crashes when trying to save dates and can’t save without giving full access - no one has explained why I should have to do that so I’m not. Please send notifications as soon as you know bins won’t be emptied according to the published schedule; this will save unemptied bins left on pavements causing unnecessary obstructions for at least 3 days in the hope they’ll get emptied! Health & safety issues, certainly on my street with a school - hazardous as well as as unhealthy.
I can’t add any August dates to my calendar, is there an update due on the app? Currently not worth downloading.
This was a grand app for letting you know the bin days and saving them to your calendar. The latest version no longer saves the dates to your calendar and crashes unless you give the app FULL access to your calendar. Why it would need that access is beyond me and seems excessive. This needs sorting Still handy to see the date’s though so not all bad
What is the actual point of adding bin days to my calendar when they don’t empty the bins, I reported a missed black bin collection for my street on the 17/5 and they said i would be contacted in four working days. Two weeks later the bins still haven’t been emptied probably due to the fact that some inconsiderate person or persons are using other people’s bins and overflowing them with everything that shouldn’t be in them including household stuff ie cushions, bedding and also using them for recycled rubbish. Unfortunately people are getting penalised for their rubbish because they’re too lazy to put out their own bin on the correct days. We have purchased out of our own pocket bin locks costing upwards of £40 to try prevent them using our bins, unfortunately on bin collection days those locks have to be removed so they can be emptied and those same inconsiderate persons are filling them up with their rubbish. We now also have because it’s been so long since emptied that people who are just passing by the area throwing all kinds of stuff in them including dog mess making them even fuller and attracting flies. I tried again to report this and I couldn’t I am unable due to my health and also unwilling to take somebody’s else’s rubbish to recycling, I only use my bins as intended but I am unable to prevent passers by and other people using them for their junk
This tells you the dates ok, but for some reason it’s started not letting me add to calendar. I contacted the developer Tom Forth about it, two emails since April and been fobbed off both times.
This App used to be great - simple but great - however the latest version won’t save dates to iPhone calendar. Just gets stuck in a “saving dates” loop possibly because it doesn’t ‘see’ any of the various available calendars anymore. Don’t understand how developers can update an App & make it worse/non functional. It’s bizarre.
