Beware of signing up for their premium package. They offer a monthly prize that is completely rigged and manipulated. We actually managed to get by the bots two months and had the highest score but they did not honor the prizes we won. They are just blatantly scamming and getting away with it. Do not pay a penny for this app.
This was a rip off. $15 to see a mile of downtown Indio and murals. Since no one has bothered to keep up with the changes going on there, we couldn’t find the starting point. The mural had been painted over. Most of downtown was closed. Pretty scammy. Will not use again and would like a refund.
The app is all about getting other people to join, collecting points, joining a team, enabling every permission up on your phone and almost nothing a finding interesting places (which is what I wanted). Quite a waste of money IMO
We got this app to help have fun as a family on a recent trip to LA. Although it did help us get out on foot and take 1-2 hours of our day, it wasn’t what we expected. Everything is given to you, there really was no figuring anything out. Also there is no cancel button in the app, but customer support was able to help when I called.
Please don’t donate to these people ! We read the reviews saying how people couldn’t find start points for tour and assumed it was just them. The good reviews are fake ! No doubt about it. I am very familiar with addresses and 333 market doesn’t exist. After 4th call they said the business was permanently closed. If that was true, then they packed up and took the building with them. It takes you to a fabric store using interactive map. They refuse any type or refund and offer more imaginary tours. Hard pass !!! Please don’t encourage these scammers. I’m so sorry I used a bank card. Just thought you should know.
This was a waste of money. The “trivia” was a joke. It was an incredibly boring scavenger hunt, and to make it worse it took us through a dangerous part of town. It mostly asked us to take photos of ourselves, which we could have done without this app.
Downloaded the app and paid for the French Quarter Hunt in New Orleans. Since it was 90+ F we opted to take a break and have lunch and cool off (we have done other hunts in other countries/cities and it was never an issue). When we went back out the app had timed us out out of the scavenger hunt! We basically missed out on half of the scavenger hunt. Money is not the issue as it is not a very expensive purchase but this is a crappy practice for a company that supposedly offers a sightseeing alternative.
Some of the clues you are asked to find don’t exist. Some places they ask you to go to are no longer there. Some of the references they use don’t relate to the areas they tell you to look.
Almost impossible to start a hunt. Save time to call customer support. The hunts aren’t really “here’s a clue, figure out where you’re going.” It’s more like “go here and read this paragraph on your phone.”
