Scam? I was charged $12.95 Instead Of $4.99 To Remove Ads
Really liked the game, decided to support the developer by paying the reasonable sum of $4.99 to remove the ads (that was the price listed in the game)… and I was charged $12.97. Not ok.
Yes, Letter Box is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Love the game and the challenge of building words. I found a reference to it on Reddit and it is my go to relaxation game.
This app is a perfect addition to anyone’s word puzzle collection. I alternate between this and a quordle app. My only possible request would be for the app to saw “awesome” or “genius” if you get a word that clears most of the letters or something like that that indicates a level of proficiency. It is hard to gauge performance since the boxes don’t have a difficulty rating or anything like that so a small little encouragement based on performance would be nice. That is honestly and completely my only possible suggestion!
Where are the two word solutions??
A great one.
I really like word puzzle games, and this one is no exception. I like the challenge of trying bigger more complex words. Only have 2 suggestions: 1. THE ANSWERS! What the heck is the answer!? I can only get it to 3 words. 2. Give some sort of point system, just to give some small reward. I like to see how many puzzles I do and have some small sense of achievement.
This apostrophe doesn’t seem to indicate possessive or contractions. What am I missing?
Thanks, my favorite game.
Chieftain isn’t a word?? So many words are not in the game’s dictionary, meaning there are fewer ways to minimize the number of turns to finish. I’ve looked up at least ten words in the short time I’ve been playing and all were valid, but Letterbox rejected them.
I love this game. Helps me keep my mind going at age 74. Thanks!
