Description

Letter Lattice combines the best parts of anagrams and crosswords into challenging word-weaving madness!
How do DOG and CAT relate to each other? What about GUITAR and MELODY? I made this game as an appreciation for the intertwining nature of words in the English language.
Most word games have you searching for anagrams within a single word. In Letter Lattice, puzzles use anagrams as connectors to morph from one word to another, each word you find being essential for solving the rest of the puzzle.
— SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE —
Whether you’re better at anagramming or solving crosswords, there’s something that suits you in Letter Lattice. With hundreds of handmade puzzles, beginners can become experts, climbing their way up from “Easy Threes” to the dreaded Super-Skull puzzles.
— SOMETHING FOR COMPETITORS —
“Arcade Mode” pits you against procedurally-generated puzzles of increasing difficulty until the clock runs out. Race to solve as many puzzles as you can, gaining bonus points for finding rare words. Can you reach Milestone 5? What about Milestone 10?!
— SOMETHING FOR ACHIEVERS —
Unlock achievements by completing daily puzzles, solving clues, and zooming through Arcade Mode. As you progress, earn vibrant, hand-crafted color palettes that change the look of the entire game. From the earthy greens of the “Sequoia” palette to the rich pastels of “Coral,” there’s something here you’ll love.
—ALL FEATURES (for FREE!) —
- 20 Puzzle Packs (with 400+ crafted puzzles)
- Infinte Procedural Puzzles in Arcade Mode

~ A note from me ~
— I started developing Letter Lattice after playing these puzzles in a notebook on New York subway commutes. I enjoyed the paper puzzles so much, I spent over a year building the optimal digital interface for the puzzles to exist within.
Along the way, I discovered so much about the English language becoming entranced by the similarities between words I had once thought were very different. I began to appreciate even the simplest of words and how they relate to others. If you have read this far, I hope playing Letter Lattice will help you find this same magic that made me passionate to develop this game.

Drool-worthy design

Fantastic game — and it just happens to the only mobile game I’ve ever played that I could feel the dev’s personality shine through. Ethan deserves all the stars. The design is so satisfying, the game is challenging (but not frustrating). I wish there were more mobile games like this. I don’t even have constructive feedback — this game is fantastic.

Criminally underrated

It’s a little confusing at first but easy to get ahold of because the tutorial does a great job of explaining how to play the game. You get to play a ton of levels for free, and the game overall is very aesthetically pleasing. Yes the free version has ads, but it’s $2.99 to buy the entire game. Let the man get his well deserved bag. If he releases anymore games I’ll definitely have to play them.

Game is Absolutely Amazing

I have nothing bad to say. The tutorials, game modes, and fast-pace the game has are to love. Everything is explained perfectly and while it could take a bit of time for some to get used to, if you like word games it should be very much to your liking. -I have a minor suggestion which isn’t a negative, but something interesting. I find myself making words that, while I can infer their meanings, I sometimes don’t know what they mean. I think it’d be nice if once you complete a puzzle and the “Level Completed!” screen with the time and “Next Level” button pop up you could press the words you made and get a brief definition of them. The feature could be expanded upon too; when writing the word then the definition shows. It isn’t necessary by any means, and not having it isn’t something that takes away from the amazing gameplay, but for the purpose of learning new words while playing a game I enjoy, I think it’d be a good quality-of-life feature. Besides that, the game has immense charm and I love it!

Loved the tutorial

The tutorial is an excellent step by step explanation of how the game works! It includes info on help along the way. I loved "hearing" directly from the developer. I'm looking forward to playing!

This game grew a little on me. I didn’t understand the basics of the colors. Now I like playing. Also, the sounds and music are really fun. The UI is fun too.

Great game!

Love this game; it’s a fresh word game that works for all skill levels. The built in dictionary isn’t exactly the official Scrabble dictionary but is pretty comprehensive. The $3 for ad-free is easily worth it. Requests for the developer: - More packs please! At the rate I’m going I’ll finish the ones provided in like a week, 😆 - A super hard daily challenge that’s a seven letter word? - Eight letter puzzles? 🧐 Thanks for making this! I’m enjoying it quite a lot!

Ethical Puzzler

First, this game is just fun. It's an interesting, engaging concept with a large amount of free content. Moreso, in an era of thousands of crossword-esque games, each one with more ads than the last, this game is a breath of fresh air. You can FEEL the developer's presence in this game, from the introduction and tutorial to the apologetic note attached to mandatory (but shockingly unintrusive) ads. Also, again - just a fun game.

Good when it works.

It was great until November when the daily game stopped working. Figured out I could still play if every day I rolled the calendar back to October first, then to November, but I had to do that every single day. Once December started, that trick stopped working, so I haven’t been able to play the daily game at all now. Regular play works fine, it’s just the daily that doesn’t work.
