Letterpress – Word Game

While one can play 2 of this game at a time for free, one has to wait for ones opponent to respond so it’s very worthwhile to own the full version to have multiple games on the go. While it is great to win its also very rewarding to keep a game going for months as it’s quite challenging to find acceptable words at that point.

So many wonderful reasons to love this game. But I think best of all are the updates: not for their content but for the witty rhetoric that accompanies them! Thank you for bringing something so gracious to the App Store... [Four years on and still loving it...]

Like many other seasoned Letterpress fans (I'm in my fifth year), I've found that the game has gone to the dogs since Solebon took over. Although they've introduced some handy features, such as chat and rankings, their new dictionary is appalling, and disallows many ordinary words, while no rhyme or reason applies to the selection now allowed. The challenge and entertainment once derived from this brilliant game has been replaced by frustration. Shame!!

Decent enough game but this is not the #1 most talked about word game on iOS. That's rubbish.

Nice update to an elegant simple game.

Keeps telling me the photo I choose isn't a screenshot when it definitely is. Pretty useless.

Really good, but it needs the ability to host a local game for 2 people.

Great, addictive, fun game. Would love to see an in-game comments feature, where you could compliment (or taunt...) your opponent after a move.
