LexRead(TM) is the companion app to LexisNexis's eBookstore. On LexRead(TM), you can browse and purchase from hundreds of legal titles. After you purchase your eBooks, you can read them using this Reader with an intuitive bookshelf; swipe or tap to flip through the pages and add bookmarks and notes to important reference materials. All titles sold on this app are fully searchable and can be stored on your personal bookshelf which you can access both online and offline. You can also login to this app using your LexRead(TM) account details to sync your bookshelf.
New titles will be added to the store on a regular basis.

Outdated, Slow, Overpriced Books, Poor Customer Service

1. The Lexread app seems like a first iteration from the 2000s. 2. Fails on UI and more importantly the search capabilities are poor and use of connectors do not exist. 3. Prices of Lexis Nexis books and ebooks for use within this app are extremely overpriced. Customers have no choice as the authors seem to be locked to this publisher. 4. Its extremely shameful that the ebooks that are so expensive do not link to all the resources (lexis nexis database) which i already subscribe to. Research using this app is just outdated , troublesome and expensive. 5. There are other options out there. i do not intend for this review to be blocked so i will not provide names here.

Best experience on the app on mobile - avoid desktop/laptop

The app does not require repeated login. The content is downloaded so there is no refresh or webpage update lag. Search is powerful. Highlight also. Stable and easy to use.

Slow and Laggy

Slow and lags. Worse in web version.

App not working

App doesn’t seem to be compatible with the latest iOS update as it’s stopped functioning.
