Time out for transliteration and well organised tables, says how much effort went into development. Literally an app through which one can easily master Sanskrit.
Wish I could get a refund on this but if I could turn someone away from wasting $4/10 then I did something I guess. Non intuitive and very basic app. Can learn Sanskrit much easier through YouTube and other resources. Give me a refund 😖
Wonderful application. It’s helped me to learn and memorize many vocabulary words and verb conjugations and noun endings. My Sanskrit grammar has improved greatly. I can study anywhere, anytime, any place. Rather than distract with social media, I study and it’s fun!
I find myself learning the words, but this experience feels incomplete. There is so much more to language than memorization. I personally need time to write the words, hear the words pronounced, Practice the pronunciation and see the words listed in their many forms; because I learn by experiencing. I hope the developers see my comment and respond with a better updated version before I go searching for a better, more comprehensive App.
This learning tool is really impressive! I have been a student as well as a teacher of Sanskrt for several decades. Learning Sanskrt is a challenge no matter who is learning it. This tool goes along way towards learning and reinforcing that knowledge. It’s like a game and is probably equally good for strengthening and preserving memory function. Job well done!
Useful quick reference and quizzes on stem declensions and verb conjugations. The following improvements would make it better: 1) verb conjugation tables arranged in traditional order with 3rd person first 2) noun declension tables should put vocative forms at the end, not after the nominative 3) pronoun reference tables should be rearranged to allow memorization across the number, i.e. traditional order 4) include links from each reference table to the appropriate quiz 5) include references on verb class paradigms, sandhi rules, compound word formation 6) some quizzes like the one on pronouns need to be broken up, they have too much material
No sound - did not like app nor find it useful. Tried a free app "Sanskrit primer" and found it to be far more useful
Practicing Vibhaktis. Amazing work. Very lucid. Strongly recommend this app.
A very good app. I wish I had had it years ago.
