Librivox

I have been using this app for years, but lately I’ve listened more to audio books from the library. Today I came back to LibriVox to re-listen to an old favorite, Pride and Prejudice read by Elizabeth Klett. The app used to work flawlessly for me. I’m finding the upgraded version impossible to use. First I had trouble finding the version I wanted. Then when I finally found it, I clicked on “download” and can’t see where we are in the download process. I clicked on chapter one to listen while downloading and it stopped reading at the end of the first chapter but I’m no longer on the download screen. It appears that I’ll need to start the download process over again since there’s no indication of what’s been downloaded. I can’t find any sign that the book has even been downloaded at all. Please, please put it back the way it was. I have loved LibriVox but I may need to find a different app…

I listen to audiobooks daily while working and this app never lets me down.

First let me say "Thank you!" for 3 or 4 years of joy given to me while listening to books by way of this app. It really simplifies my audiobook experience. There are a couple of features that I wish could be added: first, it would be helpful, when downloading books if there was something indicating how much of a chapter has been downloaded and how much is left to go. Because I only download using wifi, I sometimes may leave the house and the download stops part way through. That brings me to the second wish. I wish there was a way that The app could pick up where it left off (or re-download the last chapter) instead of going on to the following chapter. Nothing is more frustrating than discovering, while away from wifi, that only part of a chapter was downloaded. Again, thank you for an excellent app!

i loved this app, which is the only one that links live with LibriVox database and allows me to search in many different ways, but had a few issues and seem to have finally fixed them all. it is now the best librvox app i can find. thank you developer.

Tried many apps but most seem to just copy a few books from librivox.org, and you never know what you are missing until you compare with the librivox.org website. This is the only app that comes very close to what a Librovox.org app should be.

Either fix it or remove it from the store.

An attempt to download an audiobook from Audiovox.org currently produces a blank screen in the app. A message says the website is being replaced. Hoping and waiting.

I love Librivox and this is a great app! I'm looking forward to many enjoyable hours of listening and I think it's great how I can now read along as I listen using this app!
