This is a lot of fun to play with. I just got a bunch of Hue lights and have had fun recording lightshows to go with my music. The integration with Apple Music is smooth and the app is easy to use!

RECORD AND PLAYBACK LIGHT SHOWS: Play with your lights as you listen to your favorite tracks. Create a light show in minutes and save your recorded shows for later playback. It’s super easy to do, just select a track and tap along as it plays.
LIGHT DJ NETWORK - SHARE YOUR LIGHT SHOWS WITH THE COMMUNITY: Have a favorite light show that you made? Now you can share it with the community and other users will be able to download and play it on their light setups. It doesn’t matter if you have 2 bulbs or 10+ because light shows will work on any light setup and on any hardware, even if your setup changes! You must have Apple Music to use this feature.
DOWNLOAD AND RATE OTHER USERS LIGHT SHOWS: When you search for a song you’ll see all of the shared light shows for that track and can play them right away or save them for later.
WORKS WITH APPLE MUSIC OR YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY: Subscribe to Apple Music and record your light shows to over 45+ million tracks or load your own library of tracks onto your device for a completely offline experience.
HUE ENTERTAINMENT: Setup a Hue Entertainment area from the Hue app for high-performance effects. You’ll see smoother waves and faster strobes without the light lag. Control multiple Hue Entertainment areas if they are on separate bridges.
NANOLEAF LIGHT PANELS: Cover that blank wall with a set of Nanoleaf Light Panels and fill your room with dazzling effects.
LEGACY HUE & LIFX SUPPORT: Mix legacy Hue and LIFX lights. Limit 10 lights for performance reasons. You can also mix Nanoleaf with Hue and LIFX.
NOTE EFFECTS: Play one of 5 note effects that go along with your music. Each note effect triggers a random light in your room.
COMBO & 5X BUTTONS: Repeat an effect on the same light or up to 5 adjacent lights.
MULTI-EFFECTS: Multi-effects affect all of the bulbs in your room at once. Make your lights swirl or wave as they travel around your room. Good for the slow parts.
FREE-PLAY MODE: Want to practice your light show skills or just want to play while your music runs in the background? Free Play mode will let you play with your lights for as long as you like.

The available music show library is limited for right now but as more and more people use the app it keeps growing and soon this will be the next big thing!
App makes no sense
UI is horrible. Hard to tell what the app is used for. It wants access to mic so I assumed it listened on mic to create a light show. Nope. It allows me to search for music so I assumed it played music and put on a light show. Nope. I've got buttons that look like barbells but have no idea what they are for. So confusing.
Works ok
Won’t read your music file unfortunately. You have to manually tap to create your own light show. I wish it read your Apple Music library and you could record your light show but for some reason when you search for a song it pulls them from who knows where. I search for Eric Prydz in my library and it pulls Meek (whoever the heck that is).
