I used the iPhone version for a science experiment in class and got a nice inverse square relationship with distance, so all seems okay. However, the iPad version doesn't work. On an iPad the camera clicks as it takes readings and you can't do real time readings as the clicking goes haywire. I wrote to the developers but no answer. Apple gave me a refund.
On the iPhone 5c it constantly reports either 0 or with a lot of fiddling... 4. Regardless of which camera is selected or which mode it's in, this is in a fairly well lit room. For a paid light meter this is a pretty low bar to reach.
Looks pretty, but over 100 Lux out when compared to a Lux meter. Shows zero Lux when in a dimly lit room.
Lux readings were way off! DO NOT BUY!!!
How did this app get approved? Awful. Waste of money.
About 20% out. Not worth purchasing.
Flat out doesn’t work, and “instructions” are incoherent. Save your money.
I wanted a meter that recorded lumens so I bought this. What a mistake. I cane seem to find the lumen scale.
Spent 1/2 wasting my time trying to get this paid app to work. Went to sent message to developer. Message feature timed out. Supposed to measure lumens-could only get lux and foot candels to show up.
