Lightspeed App

The notion that I MUST sign in to manage the headset I paid $1200 for is utter rubbish. Absolutely amateur hour from Lightspeed And not something that was necessary for the PFX. And not paying attention to a year’s worth of complaints.

Got my new headsets and tried to make an account, the screen froze. Tried to make account on their website and then went back to app that still didn’t work. It did not recognise my account and froze again. How am I supposed access the features if I can’t make an account ????

Hard to believe a company would release an app that they tout as having all these benefits for a $1200 headset, when the app has multiple obvious bugs. Have only used the headset once in plane so haven’t had a chance to evaluate…but the app and recording features are terrible. Also, having problem with power button not working. It seems to be resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting battery

Apple really needs to figure out a way to let people rate less than one star. The Delta Zulu headset is stellar hardware held back by absolute trash software. Why bother touting recording capability if it ***never works***? At least the app let me set up custom EQ, which is nice. Shame the rest of the app is so bad.

New update won’t even let me open the app. I had to redownload twice to be able to open it. Yet again same problem

The app usually opens and shows the only recording source is the iPad mic it is connected to by Bluetooth - completely useless in flight! Occasionally and for no reason known to me, it will show the comm panel as a source and then it will record. I have sent a customer support request from the company website but did not get a response. I finally called and they said to power the iPad down and back on. The comm panel setting came up, but the very next time I used it in the aircraft it would only give me the iPad mic. I cycled the power on the iPad and the headset multiple times but I never works. I called support again yesterday and they said they would get back to me.

I am very disappointed with this app as well as the Delta Zulu headset. The app locks up and the recording function does not work. Also poor communication from Lightspeed regarding issues and updates with the headset and app.

The app crashes every time I open it. Useless

I bought the DZ for the recording. It worked perfectly the first couple of months. However, Lightspeed “updated” the app and not it does not record. I have contacted customer service multiple times. They never follow up with me and act like there is no issue with the recording feature; all the reviews state otherwise. It’s is very disappointing because in the past I heard the customer service was excellent, but sadly this is not the case. I should have went with Bose.

It’s a very delicate system. It takes 5 mins to bring up a 9-min clip and crashes the app if over 60 mins. Extremely frustrating. Can’t gain access to audio files on homepage.
