Lila: Astrology for Grown Ups

I’ve been studying astrology increasingly for over a decade now and I’ve deep dived into every major astrology app. This one is by far the best one for me especially when it comes to nodal insights, transits, and how my individual natal placements impact my relationships with myself and others. The transits are super accurate down to the degree using placidus which is far more helpful for my very unique chart (based on personal reflections of transits and my life events) than typical whole sign transit interpretations. I’m excited to see how they expand the Connections section over time. Probably the only astrology app I’ll choose to pay for the premium version

I love Stephen Forrest’s approach and breadth of astrological knowledge, but what? Don’t cheap out on a developer! I tried signing up and bugs were there from the start. First, I entered my birthday and it reverted to today’s date when it created my account. Okay, maybe that was my mistake by not touching confirm or something. Then, I chose a profile picture from my gallery and it just didn’t upload it. Then, I went to go change my birthday in the settings and it asks for my phone number. I give it and then a confirmation code comes via text. Pretty normal. I enter it and the app says it doesn’t work. What? Then after a bit and no notification or anything, it says it has my phone number. Bugs are stacking up, but honestly I don’t care cause I’m here for the meat. But the app is starting to show it’s validity. Then I go to look at my chart and all the houses are off! I have been looking at my chart for years. They are way off. I go to double check the birth time and that is correct. Maybe it is still grabbing from the wrong date for the houses? Idk but why would I pay for a buggy app??

If you’re someone who likes to understand the intricacies this app is for you. Super detailed breakdowns by sign and house really help to learn as you enjoy!

I saw a yearly subscription promotion on instagram but could not redeem it so I sought help with the support team. After jumping hoops and 8 email exchanges I was told that there was a “mistake” in the advertisement. Specifically, that it was for android users only even though that was not mentioned. Seems like support is greedy and deceitful.

This app has been really helpful to learn more about my personal astrology and understand my personal constitution. Having tangible information to articulate and share how I feel and express myself has given me greater self confidence and an ability to share with those I’m closest to. I would absolutely recommend to anyone hoping to deepen their personal awareness and astrological knowledge!

I’m a fan of Steven Forrest’s work, and love having transit reminders! The app is already great and has added features (eg, connections) over time. I look forward to the addition of more asteroids (eg, Chiron, Part of Fortune, Vesta, etc), progressions, and explanations of un-aspected natal planets. I’m really glad this app has been developed. It adds depth to my understandings of my own evolution.

I’ll be honest. I’m an astrology buff. Does that mean I know everything there’s to know? Absolutely not! I’ve always been confused about the houses, what they mean in general and to me specifically. Lila makes this complicated question easy to understand and comprehend. It’s a pleasure to check for what’s happening now, what to be aware of and what to look forward to. I love this app! I appreciate being able to support this team as they expand what is offered. Getting your own personal natal chart is where all the action begins. Take the first step into getting to know YOU!!
