Description

Taskfulness – your mindful screen time app.
Stop and think before using your phone: What do I want to get from this interaction? How much time do I need?
Whether it's having fun on Instagram, working on LinkedIn, or browsing news outlets, Taskfulness keeps you focused and time-aware.
Created by founders with ADHD, based on scientific methods of making behavioral change.
How it works...
You can customize Taskfulness to your liking by switching features on/off.

Our features, by the use case:
- Reason-first app usage: stop and think of your intention before using distracting apps.
- Emotion Labelling: notice your patterns when scrolling out of irritation, anxiety, or fatigue.
- Cooldown Minutes: tame impulsive scrolling.
- Super Focus Mode: use certain apps for work, and mute the rest.
- AI Notifications: set your real-life goal. When Taskfulness AI recognizes scrolling for no reason, it will offer you a short alternative task that aligns with your goal. (AI Notifications are generated on your side, and not shared with the developer or any third person).
And more: Screen Time Goal, Leaderboard, and Task History.
Nice to Know:
Our members have different preferences, but they all save 28-36% of their screen time with Taskfulness. How much is it? On average, 10 hours a week!
If you want your screen time short and focused - no need to delete your accounts or use a dummy phone, try a mindful choice with Taskfulness, 7 days free.

Limit Screen Time Reviews

Thank youfor creating this app

I do have addiction to social media. I spent so much unconscious time there... I hate your app and love it simultaneously 🫶😻🤣. Thank you.

Better then expected

Vladyslav. on

When I started to use Tastefulness, I didn’t expect to have real problems with an awareness of social media usage. I used to have 8 hours of screen time, and now I have 2-3 max. Huge benefits that I got: Whenever I see notifications from Instagram - I don’t run to reply to them immediately. Awareness of my desire to doom-scroll and get a cheap dopamine. I also learned how to work with my lack of energy (now I have more); I want to do different things, and my approach to social media has changed drastically! I highly recommend using social media or other things for work or personal use only. Try it out and check which effect it has on you. I also should mention that in the beginning, I spent some time to understand how everything is functioning, but it didn’t change my overall experience.

Taskfulness helped me save a lot of time and focus on what is really important. I especially appreciate a simple neat design of the app, that makes it even more pleasurable to use it :)

The app matured since Actuflow days

Not sure what's the reason, but the design and features upgraded big times recently. I like how it checks 'What I'm doing' when I'm on my phone without blocking other apps, and those 'emotion bubbles' are a definite improvement over 'reflect' feature. The app has a CBT touch to it now, which I appreciate. The only downside is that it's paid now, but it seems like everyone's heading in that direction. At least, this one is worth the money

Quite impressive in my opinion

Vik_25 on

I've been using this app for less than a week, but I'm happy with it. It does the job, without getting me bored as similar apps. I would say it's good to notice your emotions and put more control into actions, especially if you spend a lot of time on the phone. My screen time went down, but it's hard to say 1 or 2 hours a day.

Great app to limit usage of 9gag and Reddit

The app effectively stops me every time I am bored and just want to doom scroll some memes. This makes me stop at that moment and think if I can use my time better.

Can’t live without it

Anja_Miira on

At first I found it intimidating how it blocks my access to apps and constantly asks for a reason to do something, but now I can feel how it improved my life! Even friends notice that I am on time to our meetings now. My learning skills got also stronger as well, I can make it to the end of a lecture and really grasp what it was all about 😄. I would keep on using for sure! Thanks, Actuflow

App ‘reminds me’, but automatically records as failure

Reviewer T22 on

Germany

When the time estimate I set elapsed, the app is reminding me, but upon opening automatically sets the intention as failed. Why? If I set the intention as ‘call’, but my call takes longer than anticipated, how is that a failure? Edit: I like the concept of the App and apparently the user experience will be redesigned in the future. I would recommend to give the user the ability to save intentions or autocomplete them, because those often repeat themselves and it is cumbersome to always repeat typing the same thing. If this and the point in my original review are adressed, this would be a 5 star app in my opinion.

The free version is useless

It just blocks the apps and you can’t define a task and duration in the free version 😐

A true standing ovation!

EduKate77 on

I am truly impacted positively by this app. It helps me be more intentional about my habits and develop healthier patterns with my phone use. Also, I appreciate taking time to think about why I’m wanting to use my phone and am able to model healthier strategies for navigating social media. I recommend this app to everyone!
