The single best foreign language reader on the market. Easy to add vocab all in one place and practice. Easy to import all kinds of files. Great support. I’d marry this app. I tried. Turns out you can’t but I still love the app
It is reader friendly. I can adjust the font size, the background is also reader friendly, it has a day mode and a night mode. I can just check the word, see what it means and hear what it sounds with a click. It's great for reading French literature. Still, I have to see about the French translation and how it teachers me about the grammar~
I am pleasantly surprised to have come across this app. I self study language and needed something to help keep my vocabulary in use. This app is perfect for people who have a lot of passive vocabulary built but have trouble utilizing it. Reading in my target language is essential, and being able to translate instantly in the app and add new vocabulary to my dictionary to study later is exactly what I was looking for in a reading app. I am looking forward to seeing how this app continues to grow in the future.
I’ve used both Readlang and LingQ extensively and this is pretty comparable, except they offer a one time purchase price which I think makes it a much better value.
It’s better if maybe the user can use the target language to learn the target language. For example, i always try to use easy English to learn complex English and I found it very beneficial for the subtleties of language learning. I believe the definition is provided with your ChatGPT translation already but maybe I can choose to show the learner’s definition in the default top definition section. Right now if I choose Chinese as native language and tap an English word, it shows the direct translation in the definition section and if I choose English as both native and target language, the definition section will only show the tapped word itself. A simpler one sentence easy version of learner’s definition (which is already in the AI generated definition now) in the target language would be great as an option for learners like me. Please consider adding it.
I only wish I had more stars to give. This is just so perfect. Please take my money.
Самая настоящая находка в аппсторе! Разработчики прислушиваются к пожеланиям пользователей, добавляют новые важные функции! Читать одно удовольствие! Подписка стоит своих денег! Рекомендую к покупке!
Used LingQ for two years but this is just so much more pleasing to the eye and can handle entire books in a single file.
