Description

The LINK~VT is an innovative self-care reminder and mobile health delivery system designed as a tool for the RETAIN Study currently in development at the University of Pittsburgh and RETAIN Vermont.
The study aims to support the study to increase employment retention and labor force participation of individuals who acquire and/or are at risk of developing work disabilities. Also, the study is designed to reduce long-term work disability among project participants including the need for federal disability benefits.
The LINK~VT app would be the tool. By using the app, patients could complete The Work Disability Functional Assessment Battery (WD-FAB) before meeting a physician and review their results. Also, app users will enjoy the self-management contents that help them manage their daily living tasks and back-to-work practices.
With the connection to a clinical portal, physicians may review the app input data.
