I love Lion’s Roar, and consider it a privilege to be able to help support. Just want to mention that the app still has a few bugs to work out 🙏
…no dark mode is available, and it’s a mystery why some digital issues are not available for offline reading.
Three things would elevate the reading experience in the app, in my view: 1) have a dark mode and/or sepia background option to make it easier on the eyes while reading, 2) have a highlighting option and 3) have a dictionary option to look up unfamiliar terminology. Looking forward to future enhancements in the app!
Great content. I subscribe to the print version to leave in waiting rooms at the hospital where I work. Then I read the digital version on my iPad. It’s nice to have bookmarks. One thing that is irritating is constantly having to login to my account. Seems like o need to login every time. App needs a remember me on this device button or Face ID.
I get the magazine and use the app as well. Superior content.
I learn a lot from lions roar and I get a lot of wisdom from reading the articles
Through this ap, I can read anytime, gain inspiration, share that inspiration and joyously move on into the next thing… thank you lion’s roar
Don't waste your money on a digital subscription. The only benefit is the ability to bookmark articles you like. I have been unable to access the digital subscription I pad for since June 2021 and subscriber services has done nothing to resolve the issue or reimburse me for the inaccessible subscription.
Lion’s Roar does a superb job of presenting articles and points of view that capture the essence of Buddhist teachings in a concise way. As a Unitarian Universalist minister who is deeply informed by Buddhism and increasingly drawn to Buddhist spiritual practices, I am most grateful for this resource.
