Keep increasing cost of features
The app is ok. Glitchy but concept is great. Problem is, ongoing charges. They keep increasing the subscription cost for any feature sets which set them apart from other apps. The features available for different levels of subscription keep changing. Even if you pay (subscribe) for those advanced feature sets, they are not available unless you have internet connectivity, i.e. can’t plan to work on your project while traveling by plane. Was frequently denied full use of the app because poor connectivity did not allow verification of subscription level. Overall, like the app but long term, ongoing use of the app does not seem practical. Uncertainty about what features and cost, both long term and short term, make the app unreliable. Gave up on it.
Perfect for Notetaking
I’ve used this app for a couple months and they did NOT disappoint
Very cool concept, but very buggy and laggy…
Strong on the design front, rougher on the execution side. Would love for what I’ve experienced thus far to work reliably. Search function was a bit sketch before, but stopped searching notes since last update. Continued issue of searches which return a lot of results shuts down the app. Notes also shift around on their own for some reason. May be a loading or memory management issue. If the app could be made reliable, I would say that this UI is the best way to read and research. I could imagine being unable to live without it going forward (once recurring bugs are fixed).

PDF program
This is an excellent PDF program. Makes using the iOS very productive. I’ve been using it for over a year. The main issue is one is not able to purchase the academic version without a student ID. Unfortunately, as a remote student, I do not have one. Therefore, I cannot recommend to all students. Otherwise, great program.
Crashes
Everything I try from opening docs to exporting crashes the app
Arrogant Developers
Reached out just to advise them of a bug presenting in a newer version of the software. Rather than thanking me for the input and advising me they are working on the new software compatibility - they got arrogant and told me that’s the reason I shouldn’t test beta software. Lol as if their application is so important my iPad becomes useless without them. Save yourself the headache and use margin note. These folks got an attitude about them I’ve never seen in customer support.
A false advertising
Gonna cut right to the chase you have to pay to get the full experience for this app and it’s not cheap. as a student, I was hoping to find an app that can annotate scripts for my animation classes, my script, writing classes and came around this app. However, for an app that is advertising itself to annotate documents, you have to pay to literally be able to write on the documents?? Pay the ink, pay to add other documents you have to pay for everything in this goddamn app. Which is so unfortunate that there is a pay wall to actually experience this app and its whole entirety. I’m sure they won’t care, because there were a grown adults that would be happy to pay 80 to 182 dollars to Use the app. So if you’re a student, this is not the app for you, I would recommend Notability. Or an app that actually cares.
