Liquor Connect FAQ
Is Liquor Connect free?
Yes, Liquor Connect is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Liquor Connect legit?
⚠️ The Liquor Connect app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Search function often inaccurate. For example you select spirits and search a whiskey by name and get zero results. You leave the search as a general inquiry and you find a match. Also the correlation to supply in the stores listed as having the product in question is rarely correct.
Poor search engine
The search engine is horrible. You type in an EXACT description of a product you’re looking for and instead of being at the top of the search results, most of the time you have to scroll through dozens of products just to find what your looking for.
Arrrrg-ated highly
Much easier to find my favourite rum
Painful
A very clumsy app, poor search criteria, finds hundreds of hits on a complex search, its glitchy.
Not helpful
As useless as the website. You can type in a very simple product “ Molson Canadian” or “Twisted Tea” and get search answers for everything but what you’re looking for
Pretty decent
Works good in the city, would give 5 stars if they can fix the search option to be more accurate when out of town, it seems to draw alot of blanks in rural or smaller town settings, and I found inventory there.
Good app to see if a product is carried in AB
A good start for searching liquor.
Pretty good app, but buggy map feature
I love the website, which brought me to the App, but when you select ‘where to buy’ the map buggers off south and just keeps on going.
Also, once you get on the map, there’s no way out except for restarting the app.
Hopefully a bug fix isn’t too far off…?
Map Bug
When I select Profile->My Shopping List-> Where to Buy, the map bugs out and scrolls down, no matter what.
Also, don’t color for main page bottom 5 icons is a poor choice, as user cannot see the selection name unless selected.
Good app idea but needs plenty of development still, it seems.
Very bad app March 2022
It seems obvious that the developers do not know how to save preferences of filters when moving between screens. What was the point of suggesting a filter, hit close to search for a wine and find wines that should not have shown up. Then one notices the filter reset itself (again). When you choose a wine to look at to find where it is located and then go back out to look at a few more, the list is reset and back to square one. Sigh! Horrible!
There is no way of sorting once there is a list.
With thousands of wines in the Alberta list, these simple features must exist.
