This app is a waste of money don’t buy it save your money most of the reviews are fake

i wanted to turn to a particular page in a PDF. The link to the chapter was there in the table of contents but didn’t do anything. the only way l could figure this out was to manually slide the audio thing to try to find the right place (nearly impossible). unfortunately (and like all the other similar apps i’ve tried), seems to be designed for people who are just skimming popular content rather than people who actually need accessibility features.

The app works, but as a writer, I don’t like how the program paraphrases words based off of potentially offensive content and can’t pronounce contractions or abbreviations, so using this to listen to a book will not reflect what’s a hundred percent on the page. I also do not like that there is no option on the app itself to cancel a subscription.

Even the free voices are extremely good.

I really appreciate this app. I don’t particularly like to read however Listen AI hits the ground running. I can listen and generate critical thoughts about any given content rather quickly. Thanks!

I specifically paid for a yearly subscription because I have physical books I want read to me so I can work at the same time. Not only does it censor curse words, but it changes the text completely when it’s explicit. There is no toggle for censored and uncensored. Luckily Apple refunded me for the subscription.

I saw all the glowing reviews and thought, ‘This app is going to change my life! Well, it did by giving me trust issues. It skipped huge chunks of my book, randomly added words that sounded like they were from a fever dream, and left me wondering if I was reading a mystery novel or solving a riddle from a deranged AI. I’m pretty sure I now know less about the book than when I started. If you like plot twists that aren’t actually in the book, this app is for you!
