Litewallet: Buy Litecoin

The “Buy” function does not work. The wallet address that is generated in the “Receive” function changes randomly and funds sent to said wallet do not appear. Lost £50. Customer support button opens a shut down website. Scam?

Someone sent me LTC to this wallet. They gave me proof the LTC was sent but I not only never received it, but I never got any help from their "support" either. I mailed them repeatedly, no one ever replied except eventually to tell me they were closing the ticket as they hadn't heard from me!!! SCAM. AVOID.

This app will let you put money on their wallet but forgot trying to get it out or any help from the dev time , this is a clearing a scam, the only time this app works is when you send money to this wallet app but then will start to act up and bug out a bf won’t let you save your phrase but will take your money , the dev will tell you delete the app and re type in a phrase it won’t let you save , so they can steal your money also last time but the app half work when you use a vpn

The app is a great simple app to use but since of around 2 weeks ago, the app has started to crash every time I open it, so I cannot load in meaning I have no access to my litecoin balance.

Don’t update app if you have an old version! They added an expensive “service fee” (typically $2) to the app in a surreptitious way in early 2024. I could find no mention of it anywhere online. All they said in the update log was “Lower fees!” when it was introduced. You only notice the service fee when you’re about to send LTC, depending on how much you are paying attention. It used to cost $0.01 network fee per transaction. Now the network fee + service fee as of May 2024 costs: Sending up to $20 = $0.20 fee Sending $20 or more = $0.30 fee Sending $50 or more = $1.00 fee Sending $100 or more = $2.00 fee Sending $500 or more = $2.50 fee Sending $1000 or more = $3.00 fee

Simple to set up and use, however, when it came to completing a payment, the app wouldn’t let me scroll down to click complete payment

Have been using Litewallet for years and loved it. It’s now consigned to the bin for me. Constantly crashes on multiple devices once the Blockchain updates. (Even tested it on a friends phone yesterday). Developers say it is fixed. It is not. Support have been less than helpful. To rub salt in the wounds they have now added a compulsory ‘Service fee’ of 1.3% along with the network fee on every transaction. Cost be $1.04 to send 1 LTC. Absolute joke and way to ruin what was a decent app.

The app does not work any more and is abandoned. Does not display balance. Does not allow changing locale and fiat currency. Does not send transactions because "insufficient funds". A vile and festering cesspool of malfunction.

I’ve written my 12 word seed down correctly and also was checked after wallet was created. My phone broke, downloaded onto new phone and showing zero balance. Sync to the block chain and still no balance. So disappointed as I’ve loss a lot of LTC.
