Description

The Little Lessons App was created by Maggie Pucker, LCSW, MS, and Miller Shivers, PhD of Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in the Pritzker Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health’s Lurie Little Ones program. Maggie, as a social worker, and Miller, as a psychologist, have over 20 years of experience providing education, assessment and intervention to families with toddlers and preschoolers who present challenges. The information in the App is based not only on years of clinical experience but also on evidence-based best practices with young children. Parents and other adults will learn about various topics and issues of concern in young children, their possible origins and ways to intervene to improve behavior all in one convenient place.
