Can’t connect using iPhone 13 Pro Max via Ethernet cable on two different internet providers. Wi-Fi doesn’t work either as well. Would not recommend unless they update the app regularly.
Yes, LIVE FACE is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.

This app is great. I use it a lot however both eyebrows go up at the same time with no way to make them single. Please fix. Many people complain about it online and in forums since 2019. Please fix this and make this app truly amazing.
It never mentioned iPad on the list so I just bought an iPod Touch for no reason. I’m not very happy. I don’t know if this is a misprint or if you need to fix the app. It’s false advertisement claiming this app works unless the problem is fixed
It “knows it’s there” but it won’t connect or track
It’s really expensive Plug-in and we have many other phones that have depth camera like Note 10+ ...etc but this won’t support it , really disappointed. They want us to buy IPhone Products ;)
This is a professional application for animators, and ties to IClone 7. The suite of software is broken into different programs, so you can mix and match for your needs. If you want to make and export facial animations with YOUR rigged character, the combo costs $1,150 USD, and requires an IPhone X at a market rate of $1200. This app extension is specifically for capturing the facial performance, and streams to the actual program, loaded on your computer. Context- well worth it. The next cheapest facial animation software cost $3500 and had such a horrific customer experience (and software that sometimes didn’t work well) that I converted to this, and have been much happier. There is one review claiming it’s terrible because you need a $300 plugin. It really depends on where you’re coming from. This software is a tool, and not something for amateurs who just want an emoji app.
So I was considering buying the RealIllusion software to import iPhone X face tracking data and assign it to a 3D character. In addition to all the core software needed for this (>$800), RealIllusion wants another $400 for the iPhone connector software. Nope
