What a horrible app! It's slow and awkward. Can't even see your saved items so you have to look it up manually.

I keep missing items because the app stays stuck on whatever item they’re auctioning at the time you enter the live auction. The lots don’t change. Use the website to bid!! Searching outside of bidding and it’s fine. Please fix the bidding-that’s the m ou rt important part!

I’ve been buying art my whole life, including on digital platforms. I’ve had a good experience with Live Auctioneers’ functionality and, most of all, the breadth of art, furniture and other rarities—on any given day, there are dozens of auctions to buy from. The interface of the app is clear and well designed. The watched search feature is excellent. Unfortunately there and some very bad actors they have allowed to remain on their platform, even labeling some of these “auction houses” that sell completely fraudulent work among their recommended sellers. I’m not talking about an old piece from an estate sale missing provenance. These are sellers repeatedly selling supposedly original paintings or drawings by famous artists—name one, really, and they have forged it. Live Auctioneers could easily deplatform these sellers and build trust and credibility but they remain and sadly people fall for it—some of this trash sells.

Not only are premiums growing far too high, but now the platform charges additional fees no matter what form of payment you use. Few lots now truly worth it, especially considering exorbitant shipping fees too.

I bought a small item for 20 and was charged an additional 45 for shipping. LA should have negotiated rates for shipping. They must have huge volume but we get charges unreal shipping. I am less likely to ever use this great app again. GET US NEGOTIATED SHIPPING RATES!!!

I have used LiveAuctioneers to bid on over 50 auctions so far. Sometimes there are multiple concurrent auctions with items I am interested in. The issue I have is that my "favorites" are intermingled - could there be a way to filter favorites by auction? I also wish the LA app would provide access to past auctions when I navigate to a specific auctioneer. Adding another function to my wish list: "next item" and "previous item" buttons so I can stay in the detail view within an auction that has many items of interest (instead of going back to catalog view every time to move onward).

I was over-charged by an auction house for a small painting to be shipped ($186). Live Auctioneers refused to assist. Bidders can’t even rate auction houses. Bidders beware!

I bid $8,000 on Clars AuctionGallery’s August 16th auction. LiveAuctonieers not only took my bid, but said I was outbid by another collector. Both were false and very misleading. LiveAuctioneers needs to be investigated and if this problem is pervasive, prosecuted.

I have bid on numerous items and continue to see “lot passed.” If you have a reserve amount state it, don’t waste my time. I have deleted my account from their webpage. Find somewhere else to spend your money!!
