Description

In the late '60s and '70s, American automakers created some of the most iconic supercars still in existence today. After restoration and modification, these vehicles fall under the term “resto-mod.” They're in a class all by themselves.

Racing American Muscle Cars is a 3-dimensional (3D) car game that propels realistic 3D cars down the road. It features five highly detailed classics (e.g., Charger, Mustang GT500, Camaro SS, Daytona, and 440 Road Runner). Each vehicle model is composed of approximately 300 component objects—from intricately detailed chrome wheels to light-emitting gauges inside the instrument panels. What makes this game unique is the ability to make Muscle Cars drift using handbraking; amazing view during races using a cinematic camara toggling system; ability to toggle high beams; aggressive throttling sounds (whether throttling high or low); realistic feel concerning the weight of the car while it contains component weights on things like the 770 lb. to 939.17 lb. working engines underneath the hood, doors, windshield, seats etc. to simulate more realistic spring suspension handling experience. Besides that, a physics force which can actually lift the front of car during aggressive acceleration from rest!

Further, the engine system includes functional components such as the crank, bearings, rods, pistons, flywheel, camshaft, pivot points, drive-belt graphics, and headers, while performing calculations for RPM, MPH, and torque. All of this is paired with a custom engine sound management system and a set of chrome electric fans to simulate engine cooling. Even more intriguing is the digital transmission system in each car.

The transmission system is equipped with realistic gear ratios as float values (e.g., 0–4: 1.0f, 1.51f, 1.92f, 2.54f), with varying torques per gear and gear-shift thresholds. It also features a maximum speed per gear and a swipe reader to manipulate the transmission mechanism. All of this is factored into the motor torque applied to the rear wheels.

This entire gaming system includes features designed to be Revved up with Revved Coins. Use these coins to Rev up your cars with the best Muscle Car throttling audio; Access to Nitrous sprays; faster speeds; glowing neon effects; amazing nighttime street racing; the garage floor logo etc. Customize everything—from painting your car to spraying it with Nitrous on the track. Everything is better with Revved Coins. Revved Coins energize the entire game. Cars move faster and sound better with a distinctive Revved sound, and additional effects get applied.
