The HeartTracker is LiveMetric clinical trial app designed to help clinical trial patients perform blood pressure measurements. HeartTracker offers guidance, wearable device management, and measurements, designed to make clinical trial participation as easy and seamless as possible.
Designed to support research organizations, remote patient monitoring companies, pharma corporations and hospitals to advance their medical research in the blood pressure field. HeartTracker makes participation much more inviting thanks to a user-friendly design and technology.
Patients who participate in a particular clinical study are provided with LiveOne wristband and can access HeartTracker for the duration of the study. The HeartTracker app is can only activated when connected to a LiveOne wristband supplied by the study personnel conducting the clinical study.
HeartTracker, with its easy to use interface, allows patients to measure, save and securely share their blood pressure data with the study healthcare professionals, all from the comfort of their home making data collection easy and simple.
HeartTracker provides information and tools to help you manage your health and well-being. However, it is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. About the LiveOne blood pressure wristband:
• It connects automatically and wirelessly to your mobile device via Bluetooth.
• It allows real-time blood pressure monitoring.
• It is maintenance free, just recharge it using the provided dedicated charger. No need for sterilization and calibration.
The LiveOne blood pressure wristband is intended to be used by:
• Healthcare professionals trained to perform blood pressure measurement.
• Adults trained by healthcare professionals or through self-learning who understand how to perform a blood pressure measurement.
Technicalities
• HeartTracker ensures patient’s privacy and anonymity in a clinical trial. The app complies with international regulations and laws for patient privacy.
• HeartTracker uses patients’ demographics weight, height, age, gender to calculate blood pressure values.
• HeartTracker can show patients their current and historical measurement results.
• HeartTracker may share measurement results with study coordinators in a secure manner (based on the study protocol).
• The LiveOne wristband (and App) is a CE Certified Medical Device Class IIa Blood pressure and heart rate monitor, meeting ISO 81060-2 and IEC 80601-2-30 standards. LiveMetric is ISO 13485 certified.
