Hails fine but a battery drain
This app does help with payments and ride hailing in Laos. But it also depletes my phone battery and makes my phone hot to touch. Clearly, there’s an issue in the app.

Driver is patient and super nice
Designed to trick you.
You can’t check the (estimated) price before booking a car, so they surprise you with a price that’s quite expensive, compared to other options in Laos. The way the app works: they give you a taxi before you have a chance to put in your destination.
Don’t use - The fee is very misleading and expensive
I called a LOCA in Luangprabang the fee on the app said 200,000lak to the train station but when I get to the station I had to pay 445,000Lak which is twice the price. This app is a scam - I heard from the poor driver they they took so many percent cut
Watch out for scams
Driver canceled right before another motorbike drove up and offered to take me. Tried to charge me double what the app said. I could see the guy coming on the map on the app. It looked like within 100 m of me when the other motorbike drove up. Then I got a message saying the driver had canceled. Get a Lao Sim card and use a different app. Indriver. Or another local app.
APP DOESNT WORK
I have tried SIGNING UP BUT THE OTP CODE never sends to me so I CANT USE THE APP!!!!!!

The safest and reliable app in this country. A must have to get around without getting cheated.

I have tried to sign up numerous times & was not able to because I never received otp sms code. What can I do?
