Only works in like BIGBIGBIGBIG cities. I wouldn't bother making an account unless you live in places like London, Paris, or L.A. I like the idea of the app but the closest events are thousands of miles away.

Scam

One of the events asked for money to “request” to join the event, never was accepted, never got the money back. Don’t use this app !!

Does local just mean big city slickers?

I joined to meet up with other locals and search for events in my area. You cant search by city however so it’ll only recommend events happening in places like: Santa Monica, New York, Palm Beach etc. im not in the habit of getting on a plane just to go get coffee with some people. Is there a way to meet REAL locals on here or do I need to relocate?

The locals are not so local

I live in Houston Tx, every event was either in NY, FL, or CA. Can’t believe they even charged me for that nonsense.

App stuck for eternity

I installed the app, filled in all the details and I see the prompt which says ‘now let the magic happen’ and then it tries to generate matches based on the answers and then I see a Blank screen. Tried to restart the app and I get the same results again. I was looking forward to use the app but this bad experience has changed my mind.

Glitchy

I can’t even upload a photo for my profile. It says “error: you cannot organize local media” …I don’t even know what that means. Can’t get beyond this point in the sign up.

It is a great app but..

I’m from a fairly large city in Louisiana. I didn’t see any participants or events here. Everything seem to be LA, California based or that general area. Where I did like the concept of the app it just looks like it’s for people in huge cities such as NYC and LA which I wish it was marketed as such. It’s really hard to navigate and really understand if there are any people from my area. Hopefully in the future you can add a people near me feature where not having a exact location but a general idea of if any people are in my state or any surrounding states and we be able to plan events or send/request invites that way!

Idea is good, but only as good as users

When I first heard of this app, I was excited! I joined and tried requesting many groups, but I stayed requested until it expired. The group owners aren’t accepting or don’t check the app to add people in. Also, the events suggested to me sometimes weren’t even in my vicinity, I live in LA but was getting suggestions for London and there was no way to filter. The idea of the app is great, but only as good as the users and it was disappointing.
