I googled apps that allowed publishing of a track to web and LocaToWeb came up. I wanted to allow people to view the route of a charity Santa sleigh so they know when to expect us. So far it’s performed brilliantly and it’s very easy to set up tracks. Even managed to import kml file waypoints with no problems. Well worth the small purchase price.
The latest update has been dreadful with loads of issues running it on iPhone XR that I never used to have as it used to work excellently. However since writing a one star review a number of issues have been fixed and I’ve had contact with the developer which is encouraging. So far everything seems much better and issues are resolved, however I do think that these updates shouldn’t be issued without THOROUGH testing first!!!! I’ve updated my review so fingers crossed that no other problems occur.
I’m moving away from this otherwise excellent app as I keep receiving notice to pay. It is particularly frustrating as this closes the app off to people who are keen on tracking their athlete. Yes it is quick and easy to pay with a phone. But it has been gobbling up my 10 dollar add ons at a rate of knots. I’d like to know why it gobbles up the 10 bucks so quickly. I’m going to move to another app.
Used this to allow many friends and family to track my Lands End to John O’Groats ride. Developer was extremely helpful in guiding me on integrating the tracker to my website. This app worked flawlessly for me over the 1000 or so miles of my ride.
Perfect for recording walks with my dog and when hillwalking.
Issue with Google Maps fixed now. Thanks.
This is a brilliant app and so easy to use, a great way to record your adventures and to share them with your family and friends.
I use this every week to track our radio programme treasure hunt Finders Keepers. It is great. Highly accurate and easy to use.
Great product, I’m one of our towns Santa’s we will be using this for tracking Santa around the housing estates this year!
The GPS Tracking provides excellent live updates across the globe. The iPhone tracking works great & keeps family and friends up to date on progress of the event, marathon or journey. I don't leave home for a long adventure without Locatoweb switched on. 10/10
