Brilliant

This app takes stylized photos to resemble film footage. It’s free to use, but for a really good price, you can unlock all of the camera styles. I especially loved the effect that showed the picture gradually fading in from white as if the film was being developed. Well done!

Love it

Great app for taking pictures with different film styles. The ability to zoom in is fantastic. Also love having the option of having the date stamped on each picture.

Super Fun!

Honestly, I love the retro and old style feel of this camera app! It's nostalgic and cool. The features/buttons you get are generally the same you would have on your own phone camera app. It's familiar so very easy to use. I appreciate that the selfie side does not flip/reverse like it does on our regular camera app. That's already a huge plus for me. Locca has 5 free camera types (+1 limited time free one) and the rest, including some other features, are pro. One of the best things I think this app has going for it, so far, is the small inspiration blurb of each camera. The hashtags also make it incredibly easy for people to pick the kind of vibe or feel they want for a photo. The attention to extra detail in giving us separate albums already for each camera type is super smart as well. What I think would make this app a little better is to allow for maybe a 3 day free trial so people can check out the other film cameras and effects before fully committing! The one-time price is still affordable but people always want to make sure they love something before purchasing. Even without, I still think the available cameras are super fun to use!!

This app is beautifully designed and so helpful! I love it and am so grateful for Red opening its arms to us (because we really needed somewhere to go) and I'm finding out so many amazing things including this app. We love our new friends and are grateful for their patience with us. ❤️

Thank you my Chinese spy for recommending this app

So downloaded it thinking it was going to be like all the other camera apps BUT this one’s actually pretty great. I shoot on film personally and compared the film recipes used in the app and they are very well put together, plus with the option to toggle things like white balance, you can adjust it and fine tune it very well. Yearly subscription and lifetime are pleasantly priced also so if you want a genuine film look to your photos, give it a try. UI is easy to use, maybe can enlarge the font to make easier to read but overall a great step into an authentic film simulation.
