LockDown Browser

I literally wanted to cry. I got started on a test, but the app wouldn’t accept my login credentials and kept saying invalid. So I emailed my professor and the support team. I kept telling tell my login is not working. Remind you that i use the same login credentials as i do for canvas. They were telling me to reinstall, reinstall, reinstall. The app never did work and guess what? I got a zero, not 1 but two, smh. They are wrong for screwing up people lives like this and these professors do not accept technical difficulties, they are still going to give you a zero.

EDUCATORS: DO NOT JSE THIS APP FOR YOUR COURSES Potentially the worst app of all time, read title. Once I tried to take my exam, it said “you must access form the browser” which I did originally. But hey you absolute genius developers, guess what? You cannot access another app (browser) IF THE MACHINE IS LOCKED DOWN. No ability to change brightness. No bluetooth. No Home Screen. You cannot even turn your iPad off. Your developers should rethink their jobs. What are you doing with your lives…? I had to hard reset my iPad to regain functionality. You have wasted 4 hours of my life.

Can get a bit laggy, DO NOT USE if you have a device that crashes often - it can ruin you test scores

Don’t download or use this app at any cost on your iPad if you want to keep it! It locked me out for hours after doing hours of IT trouble shooting then did I get to unlock my iPad it refused to turn off for hours on end and I couldn’t get out I thought I lost my IPad forever!

My son downloaded on my iPad, as soon as his test was supposed to start it locked my iPad for 8 hours (if you hold in home button and lock button at same time will force restart and won’t be locked). Junk.

I tried to log in and it shut down my entire Ipad. I feel like its a virus rather than a private browser.

This app is laggy and won’t even let me take my tests.

I was locked in my iPad for six hours. I couldn’t change the brightness. It took forever to force restart it. Please do not use this app with iPad. Use it with a computer, but don’t use it with iPad because you will be stuck with it forever if I give a zero.

Says use browser and should automatically start but it never did? Me and my teacher did everything i could and it made me fail my exam 👍
