Die absolut beste App mit Abständen für Geocaching. Ich spende auch regelmäßig Trinkgeld in die Weiterentwicklungen zu fördern den darauf kann ich nicht mehr verzichten. Bitte weitermachen notfalls als Abo.

Looking4Cache is a app with a wide set of functions around the fascinating hobby geocaching. With direct access to over two million geocaches on Groundspeak´s Geocaching platform you can search for a box nearly everywhere.
In seconds you can store geocaches including all informations like the last logs, the waypoints and the images to your device over the direct API access (for this please read the annotation on the bottom). Or you can import a gpx file or a pocket query. All data will be stored on your device for offline usage.
Log your founds with images and trackables instantly or after your trip in the app. You can upload fieldnotes to the geocaching website too. And this not only for you but also for your complete team.
One of the highlights of Looking4Cache are the offline maps from OpenStreetMap like you found nowhere else. Choose and download the maps including contour lines directly in the app and use them in dead spots or in foreign countries without roaming costs. You can download whole states or complete countries.
With the ability to cache completely offline your battery will be conserved. To save more power the GPS accuracy will be switched based on the distance to your next target.

Attention: To access the geocaches you need a user on Groundspeak´s Geocaching plattform (.com). According to your membership type the amount of data is restricted. Basic Members could load 3 full cache descriptions per day and up to 6000 basic descriptions. As a Basic Member the geocache search is restricted to traditional caches. To get full access and use all functions of this app you should have a premium account.
Attention: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Einfach die beste App um Caches zu finden
Ich habe die App schon seit Jahren im Einsatz und bin absolut zufrieden! Schön auch die regelmäßigen Updates.
Spitzen-App fürs Cachen ..!
Nachdem die Lustigen von GC.com 2017 die seinerzeitige Original-GC-App durch eine hirnverbrannte Version ersetzt haben, bin ich auf der Suche nach einem Ersatz hier fündig geworden. Nach 2 Jahren zieh ich das Resümee, dass diese App auch im Dauereinsatz perfekt ist. 👍 Muss auch mal gesagt werden 😎
Großartige App
Looking4Cache ist eine ideale App fürs Geocachen und bietet alles was das Cacherherz begehrt. 😉 Mit zahlreichen Tools wie Offlinekarten und GPX Import und Export, ist die App wirklich praktisch für unterwegs und auch im Urlaub. Ich war auch sehr überrascht, dass der Stromverbrauch im Vergleich zu anderen Apps gering ist. Obwohl sie etwas unübersichtlich wirkt, ist nach etwas Benutzungszeit alles gut zu bedienen. Der Entwickler ist stets bemüht, alle Fehler zu beheben und gewünschte Features zu implementieren. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen; meine absolute Lieblingsapp fürs Geocachen. 👍
Login nicht mehr möglich
Grundsätzlich eine tolle App. Kann mich allerdings nicht mehr über Geocaching.com authentisieren. Beim Drücken des Login Buttons passiert nichts.
Seit dem letzten Update Absturz
L4C ist mein Begleiter am iPhone, da ein altes 4er. Gc App geht hier seit der Abschaltung der classic App nicht mehr und so lief eben L4C. Aber leider Totalversagen seit gestrigem Update. Schade, die nächsten Tage hätte ich die App gebraucht... Update: 9.Nov17: wieder das selbe, nach Update stürzt L4C am 4er iP ab, davor gings nach einem Zwischenupdate wieder. Somit wieder zurück auf 0 Sterne (wenns denn ginge, also 1 Stern) Update 14.Nov17: nach Update gehts wieder, zurück auf 4 Sterne
Beste Caching APP ever
Wenn man sich mal etwas länger mit dem App beschäftigt, sprich: cached, nimmt man kein anderes App mehr zur Hand.... weiter so👏👏👏
Nur die und keine andere mehr
Seit ich L4C habe, verwende ich nichts anderes mehr. Listenverwaltung, loggen für mehrere User gleichzeitig mit Textvorlagen und offline Maps verwende ich am meisten. Definitiv das Geld wert!!
Beste App zum Geocachen
Endlich kann ich der App alle 5-Sterne geben. + offline Vectorkarten + Notizen und korrigierte Koordinaten synchronisieren + Cache Listings in Listen organisieren + Pocket Querie Import und Export + Vorlagen für neue Logeinträge Das einzige das ich schade finde ist, das es kein Parsing der Cachelistings alla C-qeo für free User gibt! Ich bin zwar selbst Premium Member, so kann ich die App allerdings nur bedingt weiterempfehlen... (Premium Account vorausgesetzt)
