Eine vorbildliche Einseitenoberfläche mit optimaler Ausnutzung der Displayfläche! Erinnert ein wenig an das Konzept vom Roland alpha Juno 1/2 mit zusätzlichen Features wie dem Resonator, dem auch hochstimmbaren Suboszillator (-24/-12/+7/+12/+19 Halbtöne) und einem im Delay verbauten aber für den Gesamtklang nutzbaren zusätzlichen modulierbaren Lowpassfilter. Der Klang steht wesentlich teureren iOS Synths in nichts nach ist dabei eigenständig und generell Geschmackssache. Dabei ganz mein Geschmack, was nicht zu clean klingende Pads und Leadsound angeht! Der Arpeggiator macht Laune! Wünsche: 2. LFO, Tempotap für Liveperformancetauglichkeit mit den Arpeggiator, Modulationsradzuweisung. die maximale Rate des Delaylowpassfilters könnte schneller sein, Audiounit Support. Ich habe echt viele, auch von den überteuerten 20€ Synthis aber dieser kleine unscheinbare Lorenz schlägt fast alle. Im Sound, in der sehr übersichtlichen Bedienung und seiner Einfachheit und den vielfältigen Modulationsmöglichkeiten. Und das Tolle ist, alles spielt sich auf einer Seite ab. Für Sounddoktoren genau das richtige. Für Preset süchtige Spielkälber eher nichts, denn die richtig guten Sounds muss man sich erarbeiten. Und über gute Boxen oder Kopfhörer kommt richtig was raus aus der Kiste

Regular classic synth sounds. Reason for high rating is this is very efficient, low cpu for most things, which is always an issue on iPad versus laptop.

I thought this would be just a generic polysynth, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. This is a really fun app, and I'm glad it now has AU support! If you like the simplicity of the Polysix, you'll love this. It doesn't sound as smooth or dampy as the polysix, but it still combines what makes the iPolysix fun with the modern and quirky traits of Cassini.

I own a LOT of iPad audio apps and well over 30 iOS synths. Of those, there are only a handful I would use for professional recording, such as Moog Model 15, Animoog, Korg ARP Odessei, Nave, and a few others. I would put Lorentz in that elite group. It can sound like a Jupiter 8 or a CS80 or even a 303. The routing is amazing… the filters are top-notch (a full LPF on just the Delay)… and that resonator just fills the sound with harmonics. Lorentz does dark and gritty very well too. It has all the MIDI options needed as well as Link. Did I mention it has dual envelopes? The other IceWorks synths are great too but this is my dog right here.

Love all iceworks apps. I have all the recent Link-enabled ones and they are always the first ones I open during a session. For some reason, when the apps join the network they interrupt the tempo of the session first instead of looking at what the current tempo is first and changing to that. This can really jumble what would otherwise be a seamless and enjoyable experience. All the synths sound great and I love the arp and hold buttons. I also love that they have standard midi functionality.
