Description

Welcome to the BetterMaps ZooMap, Los Angeles Zoo version - LA ZooMap. Our custom interactive map plans the shortest route to your destination. Our mapping works even if you don't have a signal (web-based maps can't do that). Find animals, rides & attractions, food and more and our map will guide you to your destination. Get food (or a beer) and find the bathrooms when you're done (quickly!) Walk around knowing you don't have to remember where you parked (we do that for you - then bring you back to the car at the end of a long day). So have fun and get mapped. Only $0.99 - we are making the app better and better each day for you. See other maps from BetterMaps!
PS: We have followed the zoo locations as stated by the zoo - if locations are not correct please feel free to email coordinates to: [email protected] and I will change the locations if they are wrong - we try our best to be as accurate as possible.

Los Angeles Zoo Reviews

Worked great - very interactive.

I think they updated the locations (some not perfect but even - as stated before - the zoo staff couldn’t tell us where everything was. The zoo should work with this app and it would be perfect.

Not Up to Date!

I, too, got this app to be able to find all the animals my daughters wanted to see. I read a review from November that stated the same thing I’m about to state. This app lead me through paths that are no longer active at the zoo. These changes were made due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I spent half of my time lost, going back and forth, because of this app. The developer is not entirely to blame, as the zoo also has no clear guides to their animals. I was mostly stressed out trying to find the tigers and jaguars, which we gave up on because it was 4pm and we still hadn’t found them, despite zoo keepers telling us they were available. My suggestion is for the developers to actually visit the zoo and update their app accordingly, as some of the animals that were in the zoo were not available in the app. Please call to see what restaurants and animals are available if you’re planning to visit, a lot has changed at LA Zoo! Good luck.

It’s ok

I got the app so we could find all the animals that my son wanted to see. We followed the map to the lion and there was a sign saying that it’s closed. There was no animal in there and no water, just a sign. Next he wanted to see the bear and tiger (both located next to each other according to the map). Same thing. Closed and just a sign. After that was jaguar. The map took us to some jaguar decorations where the jaguars should be. This app is nice but is not kept up to date. Also, the map rotates as you move around. Sometimes the map is sideways, sometimes it’s upside down, sometimes it’s diagonal, sometimes it’s right side up. It would be nice to have a feature to keep the map in an upright position.
