Lost Lands 7 Reviews

Trop bien

vdmar22 on

J’adore, je les ai tous faits. Seul problème : dur de s’arrêter et quand on finit, le regret d’avoir été trop vite. Super jeu d’énigmes!!

Not for iPhone

Stupid Flanders1 on

United States

Some the puzzles, especially the 4 shapes in the bonus chapter are basically impossible to do on iPhone because your finger is covering up what your trying to do

Convoluted puzzles

badplug12345 on

Having played all previous, the puzzles in this one, even in the hops, are way too complicated. Are they trying to be Myst? May as well go back and play Myst. That was a game worth dedicating hours to; this lost lands, not so much.

Protagonist’s son is full of animosity

Cheri 174evr on

Lost lands 7 is as engaging as all the other lost lands games, but in 7 our protagonist’s son is a whiny baby of a man. It gets really irritating. Why couldn’t she have a son who is a little more supportive and adventurous? Seriously, it is so irritating!

Very good as usual

The games produced by this developer are always good. The puzzles are hard but doable, and sometimes they are easier. I like that your are not limited in how many to times you can poke around, unlike some other games.

Very addictive

I can’t begin to tell you how much I love these games. The first game was difficult for me because I wasn’t used to a game that had such a large amount of locations to explore and items to find and/or unlock. I finally muddled my way through. On game two, I took notes in a separate journal to try to remember everything, but found that exhausting. By game three, I started to get the hang of it, slowed down, and really made myself pay attention. The stories are interesting, the characters are wonderful, and the graphics are stunning. I’ve even become fond of several of the characters and will be sad when the series ends.

Hilarious

Out of all the lost lands, this one with the upset son storyline made me laugh hard. What a joy to keep going and building on each adventure. I like how necessary the cut screens are. Puzzles are challenging and at times frustrating. Have patience! Enjoy the standout logic games in a world of candy swapping mind dumbness. If you like to think, this game is for You! All lost lands & New York mysteries are worth discovering and rediscovering.

Used to be so much fun

Darkstarr8 on

United States

The first few games were so much fun. It took a long time to get through the game and not just a few hours. Around the 5th series is when you could tell it wasn’t the same developers. Now I feel like I have to keep watching all these scenes and read too much material. What the heck!!! I signed up for a game, not a book report. Also, the game doesn’t last that long, like they no longer have taken the time to create it. A lot of the puzzles no longer make sense. They will give you dots or colors and basically say “do something”, lol. When you click on the information button to find out what to do, it’s as vague as the puzzle is. WE ARE NOT IN YOUR HEADS! I shouldn’t have to keep going to the web to figure out how to play the game. What happened after the 4th series!!!??? Whoever is no making the game is rubbish!!

This chapter was a little annoying but I love the series and all previous chapters

iDan iKnight on

United States

I found that compared to chapters 1-6, which were awesome, this one tended to make the puzzles more tedious and frustrating rather than difficult and challenging. I had to use the auto-solver a few times, and in previous chapters I think maybe used it once or twice in all six combined. I rarely want to skip a puzzle, but quite a few in this chapter were just plain annoying more than actually intelligent. Bit of a miss :-( Love the series though. When will the movie be pitched? We need a Susan movie!

I do see what the harsher critiques are talking about

Silver1108 on

United States

So unfortunately I do see what the harsher reviews are talking about. The previous games had similar puzzles to one another with a little spin and it didn’t bother me because I knew those puzzles and they were fun to solve. This seems as though they wanted something different and reached at the bottom of the barrel of ideas to come up with new puzzles. I refuse to give a super low rating since I can’t even finish the game (too difficult, tedious, and expensive). I will YouTube the game so I can see the story and hopefully things are better in the next one. I’ve always loved this game but this specific one really is too difficult. It’s not challenging because that’s actually fun. It’s actually very difficult and I run into a difficult puzzle that annoys me every couple of minutes or so. Still a SUPER BIG FAN OF THIS STORY! Just not this specific one.
