I did the latest software update and now my app won’t even load. Which is great because now I can’t keep an eye on my smoker temp or food temp. Fix the problem how bout it

I work from home eight hours a day on a computer with no connectivity issues.. this app will not stay connected. You can set temperatures, you can set temp goals but to no purpose because there are no alarms to tell you if the temp drops or the temp reaches goal temperature no alarms whatsoever.. I’m assuming if the alarms did work it wouldn’t matter because it does not stay connected

App is so bad it makes me want to just buy a Traeger.

Totally unusable

If I could give negative stars I would. I was so excited to connect to our new pellet grill/smoker, well, that’s not going to happen any time soon with this garbage app. I called about it, they were no help at all.

It is thanksgiving 2023 and the servers are overloaded because everyone is trying to cook their turkey. I am unable to monitor and change grill settings which was the MAIN reason for us to spend the money on a grill. Very disappointed. Invest in multiple online locations to serve the pages to customers. What a joke! Update 2024 - Thanksgiving Servers are overloaded again. Cannot control grill from phone.

Update to the latest version of app because THEY FIXED IT!! I am now connected to my smoker. In fact, I just turned the temperature, of it, up to 250° from my kitchen table in the house!! I can see the temperatures of the probes too! This is fantastic!! Thank you!! My original 1 star review: I’ve spent hours worth of 10 minute intervals and I can’t get past 42-44% most of the time. I’ve gotten as high as into the 60% area, but only after choosing to go without a WiFi connection. I’m thinking that they need to come up with a plan B way for us to update our control panels, even if they have to eat some freight of us sending our controls to them for updating.

Please add charts of the set, actual and probe temps over the cook.

I nearly gave up but finally got it connected. Its actually working quit nicely. The included manual is outdated and the wifi/bluetooth instructions is for the old grill it app. Follow the prompts on the app once downloaded it will want to update the firmware on the grill. New out of the box I could not get the firmware to update via WiFi even though the icon on the grill showed as connected! After exhausting several troubleshooting options iOS, android, 2.4ghz, signal/speedtest, resetting everything etc etc….nothing it would time out around 42% every time! I tried several dozen times. My success was updating via Bluetooth not wifi and late at night when internet congestion is at it’s lowest, also I found keeping the screen awake seemed to help keep it from timeing out. After the update WiFi setup and connection is quick and easy. All the app controls work good the only thing is the fan, augar and top screen indicators don’t seem to work on the app. Good luck this app is a pia they definitely need to do better!

Not sure if I just got lucky or not but I had tried 100x to update the grill and it always failed to do so, finally I set some parameters for a recipe (just basic ones to keep it going) then right after I did that I tried to update the grill again with the app and it worked! I rated it 3 stars because I finally got it working, the app itself is pretty basic, wish there were some more features, hope for everyone else that’s had issues that this may help
