Love Medway Radio is a local station for the Medway Towns. Our mission is to bring back real local radio to the area, championing Medway’s vibrant arts scene, culture, community and businesses.
We play a wide range of music. Daytimes are for feel-good chart hits ranging from the present day all the way back through the decades. No daytime repeated tracks and a huge selection including those you haven’t heard for ages! Evenings are for alternative music and specialist genres. Weekends include punk, rock, metal; decade specials; jazz; show tunes; long songs; and even TV themes! We are the home of great music.
Our presenters are locals and each bring their personalities to the airwaves. Kayleigh & Liz run the Rainham Eco Hub and their show covers topics relating to the environment. Onyx & Molly lead Medway’s conversation, interviewing local political figures. Neil & Dan are live every weekday morning with a lively breakfast show. Amy brings her specialist music knowledge to Saturday nights and Friday lunchtimes at the Love Medway Arms. We’re a very new station and on the lookout for more volunteers to create more live programming.
We support Medway’s businesses with on-air promotion, and Love Medway also publishes a local community magazine which showcases the range of local commerce. Together with the Love Medway website we offer a valuable yet highly affordable promotional resource for local enterprise, across print, radio and online.
