The app at first is a cute way to connect with your partner. However the pet feature is where it loses all appeal as a result of threats. Initially it’s fun and you can look after your pet with your partner if that’s what you choose to do. The positives; The map is a nice function and allows for reminders when someone arrives at a set location or leaves, this is slightly delayed but doesn’t present an issue. The art design and direction is appealing and is nice to look at. The overbearing negative; The issues arise when real money is spent within the app, if you purchase a pet and over time don’t fulfil the tasks, the pet is “taken away”. You are met with the message; “To Pet Owner • Your pet has felt lonely and hungry for too long, so we've temporarily taken it under Love8's care. Please ensure your pet is always cared for. It eagerly awaits your love. Note: This is your first warning and there's no penalty. A second incident will result in a 1000 gold coin fine. After a third incident, your pet will not survive.” The issue with this is there is no permanence for your purchase with real money and to believe they intend to fine you in game money as a result and then finally killing off your pet and as a result revoking your purchase of which no warning was made at the time of purchase that this was a possibility. This is borderline fraudulent and unfortunate. This app made for couples to experience together becomes a chore, draining and not worth the time or any real money you may wish to spend on it. The art design and respect for that who created as well as the developers on the backend not involved in these decisions are the only reason it receives 2 stars instead of 1.

Not much else to say other than the fact it lets me manage a long distance relationship with the best girl in the world

We werent even using the app on the day but my gf gets a notification saying that £29.99 was taken off her bank account. We never purchased the premium month so how could this happen? She definitely did not get any pop up asking to pay as it just took the money off her bank account? DONT GET ITS A SCAM THEYLL TAKE YOUR MONEY

It’s good if you want to keep more life in your relationship my and my girlfriend loves are pet and treats it like a kid

the app seems okay but its too expensive and way too many ads. I downloaded it with my girlfriend as we thought it would be good since we're long distance and 10mins after download we realised that we dont need the app as we already tell eachother where we are and knowing battery life and things like that are useless. i guess sending kisses were cool but u can do that on any app. also waiting a day for the pet is crazy

It’s a bit ridiculous how premium is £60 a YEAR, when - if your partner is loyal - you can get this information easily. Overall, this is a really cool app, (not always accurate as our distance moved when we sat down, still) but it’s a cutee way of interacting with the others. It’s a good app in conclusion, and i would encourage others to get it!

I assumed this would be a stalking app like life 360 but it’s not! It’s so cute, there’s so many features of course if you pay them you can more but for the free version it’s not bad at all! If you’re in your honey moon phase or just want something to feel a bit more connected this a cute app! Also, you can have a pet together!!

Amazing app for you and your partner/soulmate to use. Today is my first day of using it and I don’t regret deleting there is also a really cute pet that you can raise together. Amazing app love it
