Wherever you have your phone and a free moment, Liberation Philology Ancient Greek is ready to drill you on Ancient Greek vocabulary and grammar with a continuous multiple-choice test. Your answers are immediately confirmed or corrected, and reinforced through repetition.

• Vocabulary: 110 levels, each testing the translation of 10 words between English and Ancient Greek. Additional sections contain 220 levels of Homeric, 210 levels of New Testament vocabulary, and 110 levels based on Plato’s Apology. Interspersed among these are cumulative levels reviewing what has been learned earlier (giving a total of 733 levels).

• Nouns: Tests your ability to parse and decline all classes of Ancient Greek nouns.

Excellent

Yes, as the other reviewer said, this app is a godsend for the student of Ancient Greek. An invaluable aid. There is a small problem with the verb section - some confusion in the questions between indicatives and infinitives, but it’s not a huge problem. Overall, highly recommend ed.

Helpful companion

For a complete beginner trying to learn alone with a textbook, this app is a godsend. Just gets me out of my head, drilling words that I've never come across. I love this app. Clean design. No bugs that I've found. Thanks!

Amazing!

Amazing and useful app for the historian learning Ancient Greek. Hope you can add heaps more words with every update. Sections on irregular, deponent and 2nd aorist verbs would be awesome ;)
