Description

CAPTURE
Create a Voiceprint that captures the one-of-a-kind voice of your instrument with a few simple steps
Guided by our AcousticLive™ app and proprietary impulse response technology, you can now use your iPhone like a studio in your pocket to capture a Voiceprint of your acoustic guitar. Developed with Dr. Jonathan Abel, co-founder of Universal Audio, our Voiceprint technology utilizes a sophisticated algorithm that intuitively measures your acoustic guitar by analyzing its actual timbre and playing response, then creates a customized preset for live play, as well as for direct recordings. Simply plug into the Voiceprint DI and set your iPhone into position; tap on the bridge, strum a few chords, pick some strings, and you’re done!
ENHANCE
Deploy anti•fb feedback profiles and shape your tone with powerful EQ
As an added benefit, every Voiceprint that you create identifies your guitar’s specific resonances that are prone to feedback and creates an Anti•FB profile to easily manage feedback with one simple control on the pedal. The app also provides advanced features, such as a graphical full-parametric EQ for balancing each preset to your exact taste. These features can also be used for creating enhanced presets, even if you choose not to apply a Voiceprint.
CONNECT
Sync your iPhone to the Voiceprint DI and unlock all of these great features
The AcousticLive app provides the processing you need to create your presets, while the Voiceprint DI is your live performance engine. With advanced processing at 96 kHz sampling, the robust playback algorithms provide studio quality performance designed for easy control during your live show. You can manage your presets in the app and store up to 99 instruments in your Voiceprint DI. The hardware is designed with a simple layout that includes the key features you will need for a successful show, but you can connect with the app during your live performance for additional functionality and control.

LR Baggs AcousticLive Reviews

Bluetooth is a problem

RerbJr on

United States

I don’t believe I’ve ever had as much trouble with Bluetooth connections as I’ve had with this app connecting to my VPDI.

Garbage

Says a firmware update is needed. The link to the firmware is broken and goes to an error page.

Good but has some quirks

TWG2984 on

The app does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Paired very quickly. However, I wish there were some easier tutorials for the EQ settings. Sometimes it’s very difficult to find those harsh nuances without seemingly needing an audio engineering degree. Overall works fantastic!

Nothing so far

Fixitplz on

So far, I’ve spent over an hour and a half figuring out how to pair with my phone. Followed the instructions, showed code “0000”, never paired and app would just spin or crash. Had to google how to unpair and reset connections, then finally connected to phone. Then, followed the instructions on making a voiceprint, only to get a forever spinning wheel on the last step, gave up after 30 min of waiting.

It’s a Start

Well…the Voiceprint DI concept is great. Being able to mimic the sound you hear, via your mic and software is a great idea. It isn’t as true to life as I’d hope. I am using it for a violin. I’m terribly disappointed the app is ONLY available in iOS. I’m sooOOOooo frustrated the pedal (stompbox) has no bypass button or switch. Thanks! Vmusic

This is great!

The app is beautiful, and is both smooth and responsive. This and the Voice Print DI are giving me the best acoustic guitar sound I’ve ever had!

Worked for about 10 min

Set it up, started to cycle through my guitars and saving presets. Voiceprint feature is useless and sounds like trash. After a few presets saved, all volume out of the acoustic DI failed. Don’t waste your $
