Now celebrating more than 30 years of ministry, Leading The Way's television and radio programs are broadcasting to audiences across six continents through dual-language programs, Leading The Way's satellite television channel THE KINGDOM SAT, and solar-powered Leading The Way Navigators. Leading The Way also produces DVDs, CDs, books, a monthly devotional magazine, and daily e-devotionals to reach the lost and encourage believers in their faith. The ministry utilizes field ministry teams to evangelize seekers and disciple new believers. Dr. Youssef’s unique perspective has given him a platform to speak boldly into today’s issues and provide Biblical solutions to the challenges Christians are facing every day.

Leading The Way offers dynamic programming in 28 of the most spoken languages. Through dual-language programming, Dr. Youssef’s teachings are translated line-by-line, with a line of English followed by a line in another language—an effective tool for reaching English-learners. Leading The Way also utilizes dubbed television programs.
Dr. Michael Youssef was born in Egypt and lived in Lebanon and Australia before coming to the United States and fulfilling a childhood dream of becoming an American citizen. He holds degrees from Moore College in Sydney, Australia, and Fuller Theological Seminary in California, with a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology from Emory University. He founded The Church of The Apostles in 1987 with fewer than 40 adults with the mission to "Equip the Saints and Seek the Lost." The church has since grown to a congregation of over 3000. This church on a hill was the launching pad for Leading The Way's international ministry.
