Lucci Connect FAQ
Is Lucci Connect free?
Yes, Lucci Connect is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Lucci Connect legit?
⚠️ The Lucci Connect app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This App could be such much better. It is confusing to use and lacks simple functionality.. Ie there doesn’t seem any way to create you own light scene / sequence. You call light scene colour displays and also Scenes as automation action items.. , The Music themes, Games, romantic themes don’t work. Even the feedback option with in the app uses black words on a black background . Did you actually do any testing ???.. I am really keen to purchase more of these lights, but it currently lacks true functionality and professional product.. PLEASE FIX!!!
Can't save scene info
Just installed to control a floor lamp. Good, but app doesn't save Scene info. I was trying to edit "Colourful". Could not create a new scene either. Trying to send feedback via app proved impossible, hence the negative review here. Tap-To-Run doesn't allow full control of the light either (e.g. colour, brightness). I don't understand these limitations. Developer, please fix.
KYC
please release a side app where u don’t need an account to control the light I just want to connect to it and turn it off I don’t want to sign up to ya website
Awful
Sometimes doesn’t load lights, freezes, says lights are off when they are on. Won’t connect to Apple home, doesn’t work on google anymore since last update. Deleted and reinstalled and didn’t work. I only use this cos I have too. Looking into changing lights to something more user friendly.
Don’t bother
When compared to HomeKit, Eve or Philips Hue this is by far the worst implementation of a smart home system. Half the time the app won’t connect and when it does it looks like it was built for the 1980’s in terms of UI. Greatest mistake buying this product
Very basic app
I have it paired with a Lucci spotlight/camera. The controls are very basic, it has no event logging on the sad card recording, just a continuous stream and you have to manually go to the time of the event on the notification screen. The scrolling of the sad playback is problematic as well.
Works ok but…
Does a job, just. Have reset several times but sketchy performance overall. Worse still is the lack of support. App is supposed to link to Apple music but it doesn’t find anything. Been trying to get some help with this and get no response. Only using because I have to.
Ok
Difficult to use for light , they have their own terminology for things with no explanation of what it means, I got my lights to colour ok and 2 of 4 to flash but don't know how I did it.
Not very intuitive
Reasonable app
It’s a reasonable app that does the basics but still room to make it even better. The ability to have a Home Screen widget and use in apple shortcuts would make it more user friendly and inline with competitors like LIFX which has amazing features.
Very average
Wish there was an option to group light bulbs together so you can change them all at once, sick of having to go into each spotlight and change them. Fix this!
