Description

The first step to controlling a dream is realizing you are actually asleep.
To help you do that, Lucid Dreamer will play a series of audio and/or visual cues during your sleep cycles.
When you wake up, you can record your dreams with our free, secure, PIN-protected Dream Journal. Your entries can be written or voice recorded, can be tagged, and you can even log technique metrics.
If you want to get even more advanced or try additional techniques, we’ve also built Lucid Dreamer Pro ($6.99) directly into this free version:
+ Reality Checker - Stop looking at your hand, counting your toes, or whatever habit you've been trying to form. The Checker can remember to do it for you, when convenient for you, and then alert you by sound, vibration, or even notification up to 287 times per day.
+ Paralyzer - Sleep Paralysis is a state in which your mind is awake, but your body is completely asleep. This transitional state can be used to achieve lucidity and the Paralyzer can help you enter into it.
+ Da Vinci – Although hard to get used to, cycle adjustment techniques can help you be far more productive throughout the day and even experience more frequent lucid dreams. Da Vinci can help you plan, and adhere to, the best cycles for you (default: Uberman Polyphasic Sleep Cycle).
+ Custom Music Selection – Use your own audio cues, Binaural Beats, or even record your own voice for use with the Dreamer.
+ Dreamscapes, Focalizer, Subliminator – Everything you see, hear, think about, and experience throughout the day has a direct impact on the contents of your dreams. These pre-sleep visual augmentations to Lucid Dreamer are designed to help you focus and direct those contents via color psychology, focal imagery, and rapid visual stimulation.

Lucid Dreamer Reviews

Finally support again

Timbo2103 on

Australia

Glad to see you guys are finally supporting the app again! 2 little suggestions, 1, it would be good if you could provide an export function for the dream journal as I have lost all my previous dreams due to an update. 2, the sounds used for the reality checker should also be possible to be used as the cue sound since you will train your mind to do a realty check when you hear the sound of the notification it will translate into your dream when you hear that same sound again. Keep up the good work

Secret cost

Zero stars. All functions need to be unlocked with cash. Luring with free with hidden price is a pet peeve.

Great App, good for journaling

This is a great app for your dream journal and general lucid dream practice, thought it could use some work. I’m using the free version, so I may need to buy to unlock some of the cooler features, but one complaint I have is towards the dream journal itself. The dream journal has a tag feature, where I can tag the dream as anything. This feature is nifty, but a little pointless without a search feature. I’ve been using this app for years and would love if I could simply search a tag and find all dreams that use that tag. Otherwise, this is great stuff! Very sleek night-friendly interface. It would also be cool to be able to use the app with my device horizontal, rather than exclusively vertical.

Pretty basic, minimal help files

The initial screen just has a timer with play & pause buttons that do nothing. My assumption was the timer was for the length of the dream cues but it turns out to be a countdown until you're asleep. The play & pause buttons only work after you've pressed Start below and after the countdown reaches 0. The UI looks nice but is not intuitive at all, basically counter intuitive.

Great app but I think I broke it

I tried out the reality checker and tried to edit the message it sends and clicked out of the typing pad. Now I can’t edit it. Help?

Abandonware, Methinks

JLiB on

At this point it seems pretty clear the app has been abandoned. It's a shame, it was one of the better ones out there. It doesn't seem to be fully compatible with iOS 13, either. Don't waste your money on the unlock, some of it simply doesn't work. The rest is actually pretty good, so too bad.

I have one problem

Ljallday19 on

This app is excellent and is everything I wanted, almost. I like the lucid dream timer but it doesn’t do what I want it to do. I want it to turn off after 10-15 seconds so that it is enough to wake me up but the lowest option is 15 minutes. Please make it so you can make the time lower because I think a lot of people could benefit from it. Would definitely give it 5 stars if that feature is added but without I don’t see any use.

I want to cancel the trial!!
